Thats pretty cool guys! Nothing wrong with reenacting US troops if your Czech. Thats such dumb argument it didn't even cross my mind till i read the comments. I'm a proud American but I reenacted Wehrmachts Heer for a little bit. It's cool to see a different side of history than the one your used to - so I understand! Keep goin. You guys are lookin good!

just sayin.. it was LOTS darker inside the trees enough to where you couldn't see.. even in daylight.

Like playing soldiers! 😉, why don't they just join the army and do the real thing, 🤔 oh yeeesssssssss, because real men don't play at being a soldier! They join the real army and do it for real, playing at being a soldier and actually doing it for real is not the same thing. 🇬🇧

@@marklloyd4087 I played soldier when I was a kid also but I grew up. In a million years you could never come close to the real experience. It is dirty, tiring, frightful, depressing and disgusting. Why would you want to re-inact that?

@@Beanbag777 I don't quite understand your question. I was drafted in 69, trained in the infantry and shipped off to Vietnam. I spent 5 months in the field and the rest in the rear. Pretty much the usual I guess. We would patrol almost every day, do night ambushes, and were part of larger movements sometimes in support of other units. But usually it was our company by itself. I was wounded twice doing absolutely nothing heroic. I don't really want to get into detail that much. We had our share of contacts with the VC and NVA and I can tell you they were dedicated and brave. Contact with the Vietnamese civilians was difficult but we managed to make some friends. I was very impressed with the Vietnamese. The experience changed my life. I lost faith in just about every institution I was raised to believe in. Never went back to my old neighborhood, felt like I didn't belong any more. Still feel the pain sometimes and anger can still come on. I don't camp and not to comfortable in the woods and I don't like nights. Hope that answered your question.

Ano s tim souhlasim, valka neni jednoducha. A vojaci hanebne neutekli, nybrz odesli na rozkaz jejich vlady, bylo to politicke rozhodnuti, nikoliv vojenske vitezstvi. Narodil jste se v roce 1970, cili z vlaky nevite z vlastni zkusenosti, nic vite to jen z vypraveni. Pokud zijete jinde nez ve vietnamu, mate moznost si precist nestrannou literaturu, coz bych vam vrele doporucil. Pokud zijete ve Vietnamu, tak je mi Vas lito, je to krasna zeme, ale dokud se nezbavi komunistu, nebude tam dobre.
