Very interesting video. But why not apply for the 90 days multiple entry e-visa for vietnam when you are still in vietnam, and then cross the border and go back using the new e-visa? Seems much more efficient.

Thank you for watching. I was entering on this trip on a business visa and my employer set it up. But I also know some people that do the border run for a tourist visa. But I usually just fly out and back in to the country.

Emily is fantastic. One question, once you have your TRC, do you have to leave Vietnam again and come back in on your TRC, or not, you have TRC and good to stay? Cheers and good luck

You just have to leave for the business visa. You do not have to leave again for the TRC

" *return* to Vietnam? Seems like that sign is specifically there for visa runs, lol. So you did this very recently? Is there anything else to know about the process where everyone has to turn off the cameras? Is it just handing over passport and visa like at an airport or is there extra paperwork or other procedures? Thanks.

Yes, similar to going through airport immigration. Very simple and no stress. Have you tried it yet?

What happens in neutral territory? Stamp out Vietnam then hang around neutral territory for a bit then come back into Vietnam with your visa? Rather than pay for a Cambodia visa? Suppose there will be some international law that states you must enter another country after departure before you can return...

I was doing this for a business visa, so I am not sure how that would work. but I don't think it would be a problem. I never had issues on my tourist visa when leaving through a different port declared on my visa application. Thank you for watching and have a great Christmas!

If one wants to live in Vietnam long term, how many visa runs can you actually do on the 90 days e-visa until you can no longer?

There is no stated length of time that I am aware of on how many times you can renew. However, if you are following the procedure, I believe you can do multiples on multiples. I have heard of ex-pats now doing multiple 90 day visas without a problem. But it is wise to always have a Plan B and a back up country to go into, if for whatever reason you are denied.

No,I do not think so. I think you have to apply for a new one. And not sure if they will allow back to back to back. Hopefully others could comment on that
