In combat it was always "hey chief" go out there and see what's going on, go get em ! and I would. Some thing would come up and it was "send chief in" I was not afraid nor did I care about death I would go straight in every time and never got hit, I just didn't care, I was crazy when I finally got hit I was happy, but someone took the pieces to MASH all the way from behind lines.

My res was tough only hunting, no jobs lots of alcohol, dad was very tough beat the shitt out of me when I couldn't shoot to go hunting, not much food. Lots of drugs and drinking I had to get out and was angry about life so it made it easy to be dragged into Special Forces was very quick with everything so was sent to Mag v Sog and the crazy CIA MAC where we just eliminated whoever needed to be eliminated, Couldn't go home was to embarrassed for what I had become, homeless 8 years, crazy and disabled. No one wanted to hire veterans and no one wanted to be near Viet Nam vets and no Veterans Clinics or homes. Suicide was an option but family found and brought me home
