The first few days in Nha Trang, we walked around the most popular place in town - the embankment with the beach along the South China Sea. We lived near Agarwood Tower, about in the middle of the promenade, and on the first day we walked south to the cable car station that takes you to Hon Tre Island to the Vinpearl amusement park. The next day we walked in the opposite direction and reached the Alexandre Yersin Park and the Tran Phu Bridge, which connects the center with the northern part of Nha Trang. Along the way, we saw the Agarwood Tower in the process of being rebuilt, fancy stone sculptures in the park, drinking fountains with touch controls, and a place on the embankment with a concrete side that an incoming wave hits, creating fountains of spray that rise up.
