From the Biesse Viet sander product line, the Viet Opera R is a robotic sander for both stile and rail and MDF doors. In this video it is sanding routered MDF doors for paint prep. It sands out both the flat panel area and the stiles and rails. Doors are placed on the infeed and scanned for width and length creating an immediate program. The Opera R produces a consistent finish door after door and capable of performing hand sanding that requires several employees.
