We were stationed with the US Army in Heidelberg in 1985-88 and fondly remember the Christmas Markets in Germany. We love seeing these videos. It is just like being there! We don’t mind you skipping ahead at all 😊.

I just finished filming Christmas markets in 8 different cities, in 6 countries, in 12 days. :) ....I'm in the check in line at the airport now to head back home.:) thanks for watching and supporting the channel!....oh..and walked 185 miles...I just added it up. :)

Há quase 35 anos eu passei um dos mais belos Natais da minha Vida em Viena, hospedei - me no magnífico Imperial Hotel, e no dia 25, fui a Capela Real assistir os Meninos Cantores, um sonho sem igual, Agradeço a DEUS por ter me presenteado com a oportunidade de conhecer VIENA e por esse magnifico Natal, fui muitas outras vezes a Áustria, mas sempre em estações de inverno , e pequenos lugares todos um sonho, AMO ESSE PAÍS!!! All of these Christmasmart videos are so cool! Each one is a cheap vacation. Have a party, grill some brats, brew up some gluewein (sp), serve ‘em up and envision yourself there! It works, believe me.

Olá, estou bem. Acabei de passar as últimas duas semanas filmando Mercados de Natal na Europa e não tive tempo de escrever as legendas para os passeios de Budapeste e Viena enquanto estava viajando. As legendas de Viena estão prontas agora e estou trabalhando nas legendas de Budapeste agora. O próximo vídeo de Praga incluirá legendas. :) Obrigado por assistir e apoiar o canal! Feliz Natal!

Vienna looks to be a very nice city at Christmastime but I think we would appreciate it more if you didn't move the camera so fast so we could focus on the different features.

Yeah, it's a tough balance there. I try my best to keep the camera movements slow and easy to watch. There is a lot to see in every direction and I try to film with the viewer in mind, thinking about what they would be looking at if they were there.

@@ProWalks - I hear you there. I do the same when I take videos. I try to take everything all at once but the video suffers in the process. Maybe if you try taking more videos and focusing longer on things might help. Just a suggestion. Looks like a beautiful city to capture film on.

Wonderful video! Such a beautiful city. I have a question, there are many people walking around the market drinking from ceramic coffee mugs with handles. Do they buy these with the drink (to take home)? Or do they all turn them back in to the vendor afterward? In the US it would all be paper cups.

Hi Susan, I'm glad you enjoyed the walk. You can either bring your own mug or each stand will charge you €5.00 for the mug and you get that money back when you bring the mug back.

Also for some reason, when i play the video on my NVIDIA Shield, the button for subtitles disappears, and i have to restart the video for it to appear again... It seems the subtitle function is kind of broken, because i haven't seen any subtitles in the first half of the second hour.

Hey, I have the NVIDIA Shield too. I'll check it out and see if I have the same problem. As far as the subtitles, there were not written when the video was posted and only just now got finished. I fixed all the long captions. Those were just accidents from writing the wrong number in the caption length. Thanks for letting me know though because I wouldn't have gone back to look if not.
Did you move out of Italy? I see you said during your two week trip to Europe

That I did. Moved back to the US in August. After 8 years in Italy, we decided our kids needed more grandparents and family time. They are only young once. So far so good.
