Yep, I felt disgusted when seeing this kind of thing on the screen. Some channels even zoom in, and I was like, 'Oh no, this is harassment to my eyes,' so I had to close and mostly skip them.

FIVB protects the personal right by violation of rights of all women players. What a shame!

So nobody is gonna talk about number 3’s spikes from Vienam? Belgium cannot stop her lol. The precision of number 10’s hits could not be denied too. Everyone knows Belgium has way more privilege than only number 10 😅(height, better condition practice) as far as i know Viet’s team practice condition is very lowquality/cheap.

I don't think FIVB will do anything about this manly Vietnamese volleyball player. Controversy always sells, never mind the question about fair play for other teams that lose their world ranking points. IDs can easily be manufactured; only science can prove it. There needs to be a better set of rules to establish the real gender of every player. If you let people who don't value honesty, transparency and integrity get away with foul play, they will carry on doing it. It will become a precedent.

I think the Vietnamese team knows about it. Their volleyball fans, the players, the staff, and their volleyball association know it. They might even be complicit. The bottom line is, for the country and its people, everything is about war, fighting and winning. They want to triumph at all cost, never mind how they will achieve their goal. There is an appreciable paucity of sportsmanship among their fans - I am talking not only about volleyball here. Determining the gender of this masculine player can be easily and scientifically carried out. It would extinguish this accusation, but it would be catastrophic for the team, if it turned out she was in fact a he. The Vietnamese team would be banned for years from competing in any international volleyball tournament. The best approach for them would be to carry on with this shameful - and I doubt there is such a word in their vocabulary - chicanery as long as they can still accrue points in less strict tournaments. The player will not be part of the team when they gain enough points to qualify for a big tournament.
