My son printed student visa form from videx but in the travel data part, he tick No for "I intend to stay no more than 12 months ............ while my son will apply for bachelor 3 years + 1 year pathway. It usually contain all in the inforamtion in its barcode, so you wont face any issue.

You can divide your str in parts or type null for address.

Hi Akshun, as we need two set of each document so if we are filling the "Additional contact and legal representation information" manually then should the 2nd copy be its photocopy or we need to fill the document twice manually by pen

you can select one thing and leave the other and in pincode write your university pincode.

Thanks for sharing. If after generating the pdf, a mistake is found, can I make the changes and regenerate a new pdf? I guess a new barcode will be generated. Is that okay?

You, you can make as many changes as you want. Just print the version which is most updated and give that on your visa appointment date.

@VARSHA SONI you can travel on any date after your stamped visa date. Until your visa expires. In your case, you will face no issues.

For all the forms in PDF version, are they supposed to be filled up by pen after printing them?

Hi Akshun, While applying for APS i have given my old passport number later i re issued it due to address change. so for booking visa slot it accepted old number only.when contacted german embassy they said to carry both the passports at the time of appointment. My doubt is while filling the videx application form should i give old passport number or new passport number??

@Bhavani & Likhita it is always the new passport. Moreover, your new passport will have your passport number written in your passport. So write your new passport number everywhere from now.

Hey Akshun, my classes start on October 9th but my Visa appointment is on 11th October what should I add in 'from date' in intended duration of stay section. Should I add October 9th or should I add some future date like 4 weeks after my appointment ?. I want to go as early as possible so incase I get my visa early before 4 weeks I don't want to regret and wait till that time. @NV - Paraboyyy It is not mandatory to clear in the same year. Moreover, if you plan to go after 12th then you have attend studentenkoliigen (13th year), but if you clear both Jee Main & Jee Advance you can directly go to a bachelor program.

Do I have to sign the form 54 Videx before the visa appointment?

I had applied for my master's in bsbi campus Berlin for winter 2023. I got my admit card on the basis of English proficiency test PTE and submitted my fees too. I also applied for APS certificate. However as it in not mentioned in the checklist provided my German embassy. So there might be confusion. I"ll suggest you to write an email to German embassy asking for PTE acceptance. IF they agree you can submit your PTE certificate. If not you might want to appear for IELTS or get an MOI ( stating you have completed your universities language requirement and no further proof is required)."

Hello Akshun..I have one doubt. Actually my uncle in Berlin is sponsoring my studies and stay in Germany. What do I need to fill instead of blocked account in VIDEX? There is a heading, "Is there a Formal Declaration of Commitment?" underneath there are 2 options, (a) yes, from the reference, (b) yes, by deviating obligator. Please let me know which one I should fill.

@vivekkumar-iz2bh you need sperate document from your relative to proof that he can take care of your expenses when you are in Germany and you have select reference. You can also confirm from German embassy in India.

No, it is advisable to type all details as when you print the form at the last page barcode is generated which hold all your details.

There have been cases when people used the old application form where you have to write. Vfs does not accept it and tell you to print new application form.

If you are applying from denmark then you have to use the application from provided on their website. This form is for Indian national applying from India.

@Mynmum If you have cleared Jee mains & Jee advance, you don't need to give testAS and studienkolleg. Just search of a bachelor program on daad.de and then apply it. After you get admit then apply for APS certificate and then get your visa appointment.
