great informative video as I look to pick a coverter/ editor , a couple of questions can you do more than one cut of foootage as I tend to film Wildlife clips for a couple of minutes and then want o use various bits of the clips to form my final video ? and secondly can the programme convert the specific codec from my Sony A1 4K files into a usable MP4 ?

Interesting! Thank you for the video! I’ve been using VideoProc for file conversion for a few years, did not realise it can do a lot more. You explain very well! Questions: 1) for screenrecording - is there a way to use a lav mic / small shotgun mic / usb mic to improve the quality of the sound? As computer and phone sound might not be enough. Alternatively I guess one could record that to an external device like Zoom H1 or similar, and sync after however it is more work and equipment :). You can probably create a separate video on that topic and show comparison, I am sure people would appreciate ;) 2) when you stop the recording going to that stop button, I suppose that would be visible in the recording? So one has to edit that ending out in some software. 3) When you convert a youtube video into an mp3 file and say choose 256 or 320 quality, would it artificially enhance audio’s quality? How can one estimate what is the maximum quality one can get out of that video and also while trying to make the file smaller if it is say a webinar or something long. For songs also for reference or covers.

You can select your preferred audio device from the available devices. 2) Shortkeys are available for stop recording. The default one is Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R and you can personalize it via the gear like icon on the upper right corner of the program. 3) Increasing the audio bitrate can improve audio quality. A higher bitrate generally means more data is used to encode the audio, which can result in more detail and fidelity in the sound reproduction. Estimating the maximum quality achievable for a video involves assessing various factors related to the video's source material and the desired output format. Thank you! Very good video! ... I have several video files (.mkv) with different DTS audio (multiple tracks in different languages) and subtitles (various languages). I want to convert (Audio only) all of these into new .mkv files with AAC audio and include all subtitles, without having to manually select each audio track and subtitle for every file individually (indeed pass through video, subtitels and only convert "all" audio from DTS to AAC). Is there a way to do this for a batch of files at once, rather than selecting options for each file separately?

Having problems getting my head getting around clipping parts of a video. I used this a year ago and it was so simple to edit but now i am trying to see if i can find a video that is good enough to see such a simple process. I think what throws me off is the white vertical bars at the start and end of a video clip section, the thin white line and red time line. When i clip a hiccup in the middle of a video i end up deleting the end of the video from the bit i want to edit. Trouble is in a demonstration video as with most things you don't see what keys or right and left clicks they do on keyboard or mouse.

Brilliant tutorial! I am trying to use VidoeProc ro delete embedded Subtitles. I can see them in the text section when using MediaInfo. However I don'tly seem able to eliminate them from the MP4 so they will certainly show on my friend's TV which has no control over subtitles. What do I need to do to eliminate the subtitles altogether?

Embedded subtitles can't be eliminated because they are burned into the video frames and cannot be removed or changed without editing the video file itself.

@@VideoProcConverter I am not sure that they are burned in because they can be switched off. If I analyse the video with MediaInfo they show under the sub-title of TEXT implying that the MP4 is a container file which includes subtitles of various languages. If I use HandBrake to remove them (and it does work) the TEXT section of MediaInfo disappears as do the subtitles, but the video is re-coded, which tales a long time.I am assuming that the subtitles file is simply a component of the MP4 package that holds the video.

@@michaelgoodall5714 If the subtitle track is listed as a separate track in Mediainfo, it's not burnt-in. Then it can be eliminated it. With VideoProc Converter AI, as long as you do not select subtitles manually, the output file will have no subtitles (except burnt-in subtitles), because the program does not select subtitles by default.

What I am trying is to ensue that the subtitles don't automatically run with the video without having to recode the video. the first 21 videos processed in under 2 minutes, implying no or minimal recoding. However it is now taking a lot longer and the video size is increasing. Is the a way to prevent unnecessary recoding?

@@VideoProcConverter Thank you again. I am left with one issue I don't seem to be able to resolve. I need to be able to disable the subtitles and output the MP4 without re-rendering it as it takes a long time and is not necessary. I have some 90 plus videos to work on.

I successfully converted a Box Set of a well known movie trilogy I own containing subtitles, with my VideoProc program, however when I tried to convert the extended version (owned by a family member) I was unable to get the subtitles using the same settings, could it be that the subtitles appear on track 6 on my media player where as VideoProc is only showing 4 subtitle tracks. Is there a sollution other that replacing the unsubtitled clips on the extended version with the relevent clips from the standard version using a video editor program ?

The program can display 16 subtitle tracks. Subtitles that cannot be read by the software will not be displayed. You can backup the DVD to ISO Image to see if all subtitles are included.

Please check if your GPU driver is the latest version. If not, please upgrade to the latest version to have a try. You can also contact our support team(support@videoproc.com) to see if some of your settings can be adjusted to improve processing speed. In addition, due to complex AI algorithms, Super Resolution takes longer than general video encoding.

I start with a video at 90 frames per second. In the converter I set the speed to 0.33. The resulting video is 12.3 frames persecons not 30 as I would expect. Why is that?

I know this isn't a forum but maybe someone can help me nevertheless. Hello, trying out Video Proc on an old 4:3 holiday video. I choose mp4 but only because Target Format doesn't seem to work. I select Target Format but the 'Done' option isn't available no matter what option I choose whether it's General Profiles, General Web Video, General Video, DVD Video, HD Video or TV Video. I'm not sure what the differences are anyway. Also, the 'Done' option doesn't work when I choose Toolbox and select Denoise. I then have to click on 'Cancel' to get back to where I was. When I click on Codec Option (gear symbol) I choose 1280x720 and change the Aspect Ratio to 16:9, keep the frame rate to original (25 fps) and then click on Done and then Run. Once the process is complete I take a look but there is no difference to the original whatsoever. Why? Where am I going wrong?

What is Auto Copy? Do i leave that ticked if i am converting to another format? Does it retain the quality and size?

Auto Copy is a unique conversion mode in VideoProc Converter. It does not re-encode the video nor the audio in your file. If you're using VideoProc to convert your DVD to a digital format, I highly recommend selecting this option. It's not only super fast, but also maintains the original quality 1:1.

The limitation of converting only 5 minutes of your DVDs is due to the use of the Free Version. The boundary between the Free and Paid version is set at 5 minutes. To convert a complete DVD, upgrading to the full version is necessary.

How did you get your video to full screen? I have the program and when I open the program it's very small 6.5" X 10". I tried grabbing a corner to stretch and nothing happens. When I open my iMovie it fills the screen.

Bought this and it does not open the program, keeps saying "Not responding" and need to force close it. Cant even get to the point of entering the key. Downloaded 3 different exe files that i installed and uninstalled...all the same with all of them. Product not working.

how do you sharpen a video ? I have been trying but the outcome is the same as the original , not sharp

Unlike photos, I don't think videos can be sharpen with their program. BUT if you find out how to sharpen please let me know.

The GoPro 5.3k is not running to good on mine and its not using my Gpu, but the Cpu 😪

I can't believe the screen record feature does not allow you to set specific times /lengths to record so you can set it and forget it.

This is true! VideoProc Converter currently does not support setting specific times/lengths to record. The only way to stop recording is by pressing the stop button.

I see file type, resolution, and time, but no size. Where do I see the final size the video is gonna have after converting?

There is an 'Options' button located near the video footage. Upon accessing the Options window, you will see an estimated size. This estimated size will change accordingly as you make adjustments.

I kinda hate this because why is 20 second video rendering time 23 hrs like wtf

So I bought this today and it’s not that great, having some problems with it……I just tried to convert a 1080 video to 4K and it’s a 24 minute episode……and it’s going to take 7 freaking hrs????????? Ridiculous……I have a RTX 2070 32GB Ram, and a I7 processor…….all that should be good enough……it’s insane that it would take 25 dang days to do one season of anime……I kinda want my money back…..

@@VideoProcConverter I did like 7 hrs ago, no response but maybe tomorrow…..need someone to call, not talk through email. i just want to know what’s going on with this because it’s not making sense, and no matter what I do it’s the same outcome of videos being blurry…..but what really kills it is the time it takes to convert…..that needs to be fixed to go faster…..I mean it makes me wonder what it’s like for someone with a RTX 4090, I9 processor and like 16-32gb of ram and how it effects them. If it’s still 7+ hrs for them then something is wrong. At most for a tiny 24 minute episode should only take like a hr or two MAX because it’s so small. But would be nice to talk to someone and walk through the process of this. Because maybe I’m doing something wrong but I don’t know? I tried everything for like HRS today to the point I have a headache from trying……

@@VideoProcConverter before I’d request a refund, because I do want to give it a chance in case I am misunderstanding something I’m doing wrong. But I would appreciate talking to someone and talking it through. To try to understand and learn. Also, if I were to talk to someone and they also can see issues and try to fix them if there real problems to be fixed, so both sides benefit talking things out and working together to solve the problem and make a solution. Not sure how long you’ll be on vacation, but I can wait and keep trying till I can speak to someone if your willing to talk this through.
