the golden era of skateboarding

This video gives you RAW skateboarding at its highest level (fast clean tricks) one right after another, not to mention baggy jeans and hip-hop something that can never be duplicated. This era of skateboarding was before nike SB and US Olympic skate team and of course minimal pay checks unlike today's skaters with multiple sponsorships. Too many dope skaters to mention from the 90's!!!

I remember watching this before id go skate everyday, it never got old. Such a unique time in skateboarding that will always and forever be in the history books. Skateboarding had style back then and when you watched it it made you wanna go skate. I don't get that from videos nowadays

OG, one of the dudes that really got me hyped on skateboarding.. one of the sickest styles to this day

Man... The early days of Philadelphia! So different from what it is today.

Seeing this part again after some years makes me proud that I bought a pair of his rereleased shoes to skate. This is style and skill. Hands down.

I was inspired to learn back 180 and half-cab flip tricks cause of Stevie. This part was something else!!

I kinda like switch mongo pushing.

It’s funny watching this at 31 years of age and wishing I could go back. I hated cops when I was a kid, now; ironically I am a police officer. And I love seeing kids skate, when people bitch I’ll just hang with the kids for a minute and talk to them. The last time I attempted a tre flip and went down hard, oh well 🤣
