This program allows you to configure the camera, rotate (if the camera rotates), record video, keep a log of events and much more. If you have an old laptop or PC - you can turn it into an NVR (recorder, DVR - whatever), just put the program, "enter" there the cameras and configure the recording order.

For such a configuration you will need patchcords, splitters (see below), a switch and/or router and a powerful 12v power supply, or an adapter for each camera.
