Sounds like some upper supervisory personne from that precinct are going to have some questions to answer. In particular, why wasn't the party shut down once the 911 calls started coming in? The REAL answer I'm sure is staffing. Probably minimal number of cops available and guys at the location perceived a dangerous situation if they tried to break it up. The public answer however will be that there was no credible information to believe there was going to be violence and that they were monitoring the party to prevent any issues from occurring, blah, blah, blah. I'm glad the officers are OK but this entire situation could have been avoided with proper manpower and strong leadership

apparently someone called in because two different crews of kids who had beef with each other were at the party. so the caller was concerned that violence could break out and called it in. the cops were watching from outside the party when the shooters walked up and open fire, that's when the gunfight happened
