That darker blue makes me want to see them do Superman Returns. Seeing them side by side like that, tall vs slumped, makes me want them to release a suit and alternate head(with -hopefully removable- glasses and different hair) as a $50-75 accessory package. It reminds me of the bit right after he takes Lois flying, where he takes off his glasses and straightens up, and suddenly it's not Clark anymore; it's Superman in a three-piece suit! Brilliant! I want to recreate THAT with a HT Superman.

I kind of like the darker color suit better, but both are absolutely amazing, Supes is my favorite super hero, I grew up watching Christopher Reeves Superman movies

Got mine last week and loving it... One thing about the regular stand though is it can easily damage the material around the top of the legs. The plastic ends of the crutch hook can catch on the material. I like the rock base.. but it's sooo big.

I have this but recently just purchased another Body/Suit as the material had Faded really Badly...my fault probably from the Sunlight, although I didn't have it near Sunlight...but I also feel it's partly the material they used...its still my Childhood Superman so to this day he's still today one of my Favorite Pieces...the Original HT Version being my Number 1

I would like to Share my thoughts about this Figure...and yes I have it!! Sideshow though needs to do a Clark Kent now...we have 2 Superman Gem's but please if your watching and reading this Sideshow please give us a Clark Kent...Please. I will now share what I think of this Figure...I love it!! Yes I have listened to all your little Nitpicks but in the end you still got it!! I agree with you a Piece of Kryptonite would have been Brilliant and made sense. The Base should have been a Piece from the Junkyard Fight...but the Face I actually think is what it should be. I guess for me I was expecting too much change and like you I was going to get this no matter what. I have seen many Custom Versions of this Figure and they are Awesome...I was thinking of doing that to mine...and still thinking about it. I love both Versions and they couldn't have done a better Job of making Christopher Reeve come to Life...RIP Christopher.. Those aren't the same head sculpts. The eyebrow, chin and lips slightly different and the evil version is more similiar to Christopher Reeves

The only thing I didn't like about Reeve's costume was that the cape was a bit short, it should've at least reach to the middle of the boots. And how come they didn't make a new head piece for this toy, he had a couple more curl bangs hanging down and had a couple brown streaks on the sides.

Just wondering, did you enjoy the modern Ironman movies, and more specifically Ironman 3? It seems like you won't pick any of their Hot Toys figures - so is it because you didn't enjoy the movies? Or was is more of you not being found of the suits being released? Just asking because I love your comprehensive reviews and was hoping you would do more Hot Toy reviews in general (since they are pricier so I want your opinion first really).

Hot TOys sucks with all those variations. They make the same figure with a diferent paint. Like they do with all Marks, like they did with red snapper and peacemaker (95% the same). This superman should come with a angry face, red eyes and other things. It would be nice! Really nice review!!!!

I did not really think he was "evil" - just like I would have acted if I were having a bad day. Was more of a troublemaker / depressed superman. Course I still don't understand how fake kryptonite would make a clone of him- but thats 80s movies for ya. Great likeness of Christopher Reeve, he is still missed.

I love emo superman . I agree with you , his head doesn't work for me . He needs more grey in his hair and more of a five o'clock shadow .. that would have made this way better of a figure

Wow cannot believe how many times this base has been recycled for so many figures. Hot Toys stop being cheap and make the bases to match the figures/movies/shows.

That stand should have been used on the original, the base of solitude was a waste of plastic and materials due to it being non lighted, besides sups did not fall, he was pushed by his doppelganger, i seen it.

This movie sucked. But Evil Superman was the highlight of this movie. I just wished it woud have focused less on Richard Pryor.
