I wish they would make a 1/6 1989 Batwing! That was my favorite part of the whole movie as a kid.

I'm not into comic books or superhero's in the slightest, but as car lover this is one of the most beautiful cars ever not made' the lines on it are just breathtaking!
This Batmobile is the best looking version of any of the Batman films, it looks like a coffin on wheels!
11:28 I'm guessing that the grey thing in front of the jet intake is an Axillary Power Unit (APU).
This Batmobile is so big. I almost couldn't fit it anywhere in my room, so I had to make space. I did the measurements before I got it, but I still didn't think it would be longer and wider than my dresser! Make sure to have lots of space for this. It looks incredible. The plastic feels thick with good quality, and you could knock on it to feel how sturdy it is. However, I really wish I knew this was going to come out YEARS AGO in 2013, I would've saved so much money. This was very expensive.
Such a stunning piece to say the least...I'm really speechless at the awesomeness of this! Thank you for providing such a detailed review Paul, GREAT as usual!
Wow, this is so awesome. All those little details on the dash are just so neat. I can't believe they even included the shield and the 'turntable' too. Never would have thought about that. Seeing this makes me hope for a Batwing too.
you can actually find drivable kit cars of this online.
I gotta congratulate you on this review, Paul :) I can completely understand how hard it is to review big figures, and this is definitely one of the biggest, if not your biggest "figure" review to date. Granted, you didn't have to transform this bad boy, but you showed all the features really well for a figure this size without going shaky-hand-cam! Ms Botimus helped you with the camera work I guess so good work to her as well :) One of my fave reviews from you to date! Awesome work!
I went to my year 12 formal in the 1989 Batmobile :)
Hey Optibotimus! I wanted to tell you that I, too, am a huge 89 Batman fan, and my friends and I really appreciated this review as we've all been anticipating this Hot Toys release. I appreciate your mutual enthusiasm! I watch all your videos and recommend them constantly. Thanks again!
of all the toys you have reviewed this is the best in every way detail show accuracy playability and showmanship i think at 600bucks its a steal for what you are getting
The .303 Browning machine guns utilized on this model were also fitted to James Bonds Aston Martin DB5 in ^Goldfinger^ and on the Hawker Hurricane aircraft from World War II.
This version of 1989 Batmobile is awesome. Then again I also love design of this thing so that kinda effects my opinion.
That is really awesome. Excellent job with that review. And great camerawork Mrs. O
I think both either the '89 Hot Toys Michael Keaton Batman and or the '89 Sideshow Premium Format Michael Keaton Batman with the Hot Toys Batmobile along with the Justice Buster 35" inch statue with the theme base can definitely go together as a full on set of the character for both comics and movies rolled into one to be displayed altogether. That would be cool to see and have. The Batmobile shield cover is a plus really cool.
Wow. The Lego brick separator has so much versatility. HAHA
10:19 those might be the bypass tubes, they bleed air off of the compressor stage into the exhaust airstream to increase efficiency.
Sweet piece, that is one of the best things I ever saw :) great review Optibotimus!
That is an awesome replica and well worth the high asking price IMO. The fact that Hot Toys made the effort to have most of the features seen in both Keaton Batman movies is a big plus in my book.
WOW! The attention to detail is AMAZING!!! Who would have thought in this day an age we would be getting a 1/6 scale 1989 Batmobile of this quality? Transformers, He-Man, and all the cool Marvel and DC figueres, this has to be the new golden age of toy collecting. I don't know how long this ride is going to last but I am enjoying it while it is here. Great review and CONGRATULATIONS on that EPIC center piece!
Awesome review!! Thanks for relieving me , ( the scratch / whatever mark on the car's shield freaked me out ) ... This is the first time I see your face :D
Love how you put the Batman animated series music for the intro
Love ur reviews. Picked up MP13 myself after seeing your review of it. That's been my first "toy" I indulged in.
You do a great job on your reviews! Awesome! At first I was hesitant on getting this.but after I saw your review I just had to have it! That batmobile is by far the best of all batmobiles!!
I have this 1989 Batmobile which is beautiful but I wish Hot Toys gave it the Bat-missile feature and also where are the wheel grenades?
For anyone considering this be aware that at least half of these are reaching their customers with scratches on the canopy (one side or both) and on the body close to the canopy. Very serious issue you can research it on sideshow freak forum about the problem; it really is a shame for such an awesome collectible. Unfortunately, I was one of those customers and SSC and others are not providing replacement vehicles or its part. Thought I share.
they forgot the grenades at the wheels

Effendy Hussin yep. I noticed that immediately.
Fantastic in depth review on this superb car bro. It's such an amazing piece and one i'm looking forward to getting. I've got a few months before mine will be in, but congrats on getting this amazing vehicle.
Its a great representation, however I wish the armor itself had the feature of having a small bomb drop from the tire, just like it did at the chemical plant. Even so adding the armor is a great addition.
What a classic and a masterpiece thanks
holy box batman
Simply an amazing piece of history and going down memory lane when i see this batmobile. Just wish they would also made it possible to replicate that one scene in the 2nd Batman where Bats was driving down that street in between those 2 buildings and the batmobile sheds its outer armor to fit in between those buildings. Of course now we just need a Vicky Vale in her blue dress to sit with Batman on the way to the Batcave.
how and where do you display that awesome work of art?
You're a great reviewer my friend, thanks a lot!
Good review. I just got mine and I really like it. I hope the Batman Returns version will fit in there too. It will be slightly taller than the 1st Batman. I'll be glad when you review it.
Wow - I really didn't think there would be much to do with this piece... but this is actually amazing! I may have to get this thing. And I am the same way - I want to own the real thing!
i love that opening!! great review!
If you chrome or put a mirror finish on the inside of back thruster will reflect brighter.
Did u get the hot toys DMC dallorian from back to the futer
Wow. This thing is just amazing!

Really enjoy your reviews, any chance you could show us your collection? do you just throw out the boxes or do you keep them of your figures and collectables?
Fantastic review mate! Just wondering how heavy is the car itself? Does it have any diecast parts? Are the front wheels on a steering axle?
I'm so JEALOUS!! Great review as always man! Keep up the great work, and enjoy your vacation! You've earned it.
Great review, I am not a batman collector but this was a very entertaining video.
Good point and you are likely right. However, being one of the affected individuals and being in contact with Sideshow on the issue, which has acknowledge that there is a major issue but it still undetermined on what is causing the problem. I say read the forum there is more information on it about how wide spread this is than just a few members of the forum with faulty scratched vehicles. Regardless, glad you got one without the scratches. Nice review!
19:06 hello everybody I'm hanging out with batman
WOW. I knew this thing was going to be amazing, but I had no idea it was going to be this good. The size of the box it comes in is absolutely overwhelming. All in all, this is officially the Holy Grail of nerd-dom in my book. It does, however, bring one single downside. For the price one must pay for this thing (and with it being a composite from both Burton films), I truly wish it was able to become the Bat-Missile like it did in Returns. That's the only real bummer to me.
What would be hilarious would be if they had the penguin on a display screen like in the second movie. But I agree. These two movies were my favorite of the batman movies
What up for the Dalorian ( dunno if i spelled the right ) and the Batmobile
that is a kick ass opening :D
Joker: Hello everybody I'm hanging out with Batman. LOL!!! At your joker voice!!!
so much for your vacation
You can store the cape where the on/off switch is when Batman is in the Car.
This is the best review I've seen on this amazing piece. just ordered mine through bigbadtoystore, but no reviewer has send what the body is made of?
Id love to have an original Batmobile this size!
damn beautiful car! btw a fun movie fact this batmobile was built on a late 80's Chevrolet Caprice frame
Optibotimus on a different thing, what do you think about the Calibre 1:1 Allspark? Left this question on your review of the Universal Studios Allspark. Thanks for responding on the Batmobile subject, by the way.
Wish it could do the mode where the sides shot off and was like a Batpod mode.
Can u put a brushless motor in it
wow the box is huge
Botimus I'm so jealous of Your collection You got the bestesstesstessess stuff dude.
I want to buy it but I have no stand for that big of a figure nice job!!!!! :)
wow, smart Batmobile dude!
Does the Batmobile come with cup holders too.
If I remember correctly, Hot Toys is including a 1/12 Batman with the Bat. If The Bat was in 1/6 then it would have cost a little over 1000 dollars
you made a great review
amazing
you could put the cape in the trunk aka where the light switch is
I'm twelve right now and Michael was my favorite batman and I was born 2005 but showed my friends the two movies and they said that that batman sucks and I was like these kids don't like movies
Awesome review man I want one but they cost a lot of money
If Sideshow Collectibles EVER made a 1/6th Batmissile! I would have to save up my money and get it! That would be awesome!
man now i want BTTF hot toys!
U deserve 1 million views a second and 100 million dollars per day!
Michael Keaton is my favorite Batman, and it's called a Fire Eater
That Batmobile is perfect!
The Joker sounded more like Elmo! lol!!
Pricey, but that is beautiful. I wonder what a Back To The Future Deloran done like this would be like
When will you be reviewing the other guys frome the TFC Toys Uranos kit?
I watch your TF reviews, so once in awhile I will check out other toys your review. 99.9 non transformers stuff I see you with I could give a shit less about. Seeing THIS thing..WOW...I don't follow the new sideshow stuff, I never heard of it..but DAMN..I honestly think, that when we are old..and I mean like 65 at the coffee table of a con, reminiscing about some of the greatest toys we have ever seen or heard about...THIS will be something that comes up for years and years as pure GREATNESS
That's awesome! But it's the Adam West Batmobile I'm waiting for
i didn't see the little round tire bombs that come out of the middle of the tires, were those left out?
@danieltaylor769

archangemon1 the tire bombs could only be accessed when the shield's were on
Very great video I also like your shirt
this is awesome
Amazing review man
Is there a setting in your camera to lower the exposure? That might help you out again next time. BTW, thanks for stopping by and replying on your vacation.

Lol @ 2:12 i thought that was the car i was like WTF IS THAT
I flipping love that cartoon
16:30 the coolest part of the video
