I do not own or take credit for this video footage, I just found it online and saw it wasn't on KZread; I had to share it. Drum n bass jungle is one of my absolute passions and I just want to let the world know how and where it all started. Everyone featured in this video have played a massive part in shaping the scene into what it is today. Drum n bass jungle is now loved all over the world thanks to these guys, they are the real pioneers.
The 70s had punk rock, the 90s had drum n bass jungle. This is what a proper 90s rave was about. This was the golden era.
You can hear how passionate Stevie was about putting this sound on the map; a true drum n bass jungle legend. RIP STEVIE HYPER D EVERY TIME. 🙏

Not a phone in sight, just pure VIBES
Golden era for me, tape packs on the bus to school and in the record shops at the wkds getting the latest presses. Ram were releasing monsters and Stevie Hyper D was the cherry on top 97/98 RIP

I lived through the whole scene. Spent most of teens at Tiffany's in Gt Yarmouth (Dance Paradise) and in the sanctuary. But noisia in 2005 ripped the scene to another level. They took it to a dark level that will never be matched. They took music production to a different level.
R.I.P hyper d and skibadee
They don’t hold it down like this anymore! An era long gone, but not long forgotten.

It was at this time I cut my teeth raving at 17 years old.... What a time to be alive! Quarter of a century later I still love drum and bass.... It hit different back then though... Maybe that's just me getting old 😂 Thanks for sharing this, it gave me goosebumps ❤️

I loved these days. The 90s were fire! The best raving times of our lives!
honestly the mid / early 90s gets so much love for jungle etc but i think the late 90s was the ultimate! was a transition from jungle to a futuristic dnb sound, the combination is mental!

Jungle used to tear up Toronto...it's dead now..which sucks becuz Toronto used to run tings. The mid 90's to the early 2000's the best mc's and dj's touchdown in T-Dot. I wish i knew why it's dead now😂

@@johnnyj6718 I was meaning the scene, its massive nowadays, it got too big and popular and too commercial, and the sound changed from that original London 90s jungle/dnb style to a hectic techno sounding thing.
