This video is captured on 5 October 2009. This B22 T9 32W preheat circular fluorescent tube fixture was located in my home's kitchen, which started servicing since 1980. On this day, this circular tube, which was the final one for this fixture, had reached EOL.
The bulb kept blinking for about 2 hours, then the ballast started smoking and died, possibly due to the grease clogging the vents of it, causing it to overheat. Since the ballast had already burnt out, a B22 Sunshine 20W 2700K instant start globe CFL had replaced the entire fixture.
After the renovation in December 2015, the B22 lamp socket is no longer there. A pair of 4W LED downlights are installed as celling lights, and 4 T5 21W instant start fluorescent fixtures are installed as worklight under the cupboards.
The globe CFL bulb continues its service at the other home.
