I heavily relate to your experience, I've been playing Minecraft, for example, for forever, I've tried a lot of mobs, resource packs, singleplayer, multiplayer, beta etc... It's fun for a few weeks but then I lose motivation. I've never thought about trying new games, maybe because of lack of free time. But how do you get the motivation to boot up a new game and play thought it and learn the mechanics? Or should you just force yourself and hope that motivation will come?

here's an idea, try new games. look up things about certain games taht you really like, and see what comes up, it tends to work for me. and if that doesnt work idk go eat a apple or smth

and when you try to make a game fun you've got a company and a community in your way trust me, you can't just do what you like anymore. the world is trash now.

Just stubbled on your KZread video and completely agreed with stuff you say. Also if you want to try some games. Here are some free games that are 100% free to play and they are like hidden gems for pc. 1 caliber. 2 warframe. 3 path of exile. 4 realm of the mad god. 5 nimrods: guncraft survivor demo. Thes games are unique on their own. Like game 5, even though it's a demo yiu basically get the full game free and a game like Warframe is similar to destiny but without having to fork over $100 each year for dlc's and ither stuff. Since Warframe also have a player driven market. You can earn your own paid currency without having to pay for anything. It just takes a bit to learn in the beginning and learning how each mechanism works is for you to basically figure out but the community is awesome and caring and you meet amazing people. Realm of the mad god is a classic and looks like it's paid to play but as long as you get those daily login rewards and do your quest and have a bit of luck. You can get everything you want for free it just takes time and research. If you want some more recommendations of cheap paid games or someone to try games with let me know. I'll try my best to find a game to respark your game interest. Since i have been playing video games for 15 years and most of my game pc and PlayStation 3,4,5 have over 1 thousand hours on them and loved every second of playing each and every game. Also it is natural to get into a gaming slump but i will pass in time and some times taking a break from gaming is fine. We are human and we tend to get board if we end up in a rhythm of doing the game thing over and over again each day😊

I remember trying realm of the mad god years ago , another problem I have is I’m not very patient. If I’m not good at something early on I tend to move on

do not play warframe if you are prone to saying "straight only" comments you'll be banned and lose all your money so fast. it's a HOMO EXTREMES studio after all

Was just trying to recommend some 100% free games that don't try to spam you in transactions or have a pay to win or pay to play element to it. Unlike games like destiny where they say it's free but in reality it's not. It's games like eve online where it's free but if you want to get past the basic stuff you have to get a premium account.
