You are so amazing. I emailed you and you responded immediately. I just finished the fairy lights and I thought I would share with you. Your pocket idea was fantastic…I made the pocket large enough to cover all the fireflies, tacked the lights down on the back with paper tape, made the slit behind the jar as a flap and taped that with paper tape too. Then I added Velcro dots on the back of the quilt inside of the pocket and the battery control. Hides it and keeps it in place!

Oh my gosh I am so excited to see that somebody else did not like the print kimberbell chose for the border. Looks like something you would so for Grandma's pajamas and I'm 74 so I ought to know. Lol

Your quilt turned out great! I wouldn't have thought about using a glue gun. I'm such a stitch perfectionist that I'll probably go ahead and stitch the buttons down, but, I sure liked your idea of using stitch witchery for the pockets. I will do that. Thanks for all the Red White & Bloom videos. I'm to the point of having all my borders on; just need to quilt and finish up.

Becky, I am so with you! I know and understand your frustrations, but I was laughing because, this is just how I would handle it too! Your quilt looks great though!

Love that you decided to go with the red border and the red stripe is perfect for the binding. I would make an apron and oven mitts with that other fabric that you loved. It turned out so cute Becky. I definitely would not have patience for this project especially with the vacuum running in the background. Lol. You are a better woman than I. See you next time.

I love that you don't "hand sew" and find ways to machine sew things. I have a hard time hand sewing so I avoid it when I can. Thank you for your great and helpful videos.

It is reassuring to know I was not the only one to struggle with the fairy lights, but in spite of it all they were worth the struggle!

Ms Becky whenever using lethal glue gun you need to keep a little finger bowl of vinegar to dip your burnt finger tips :) and that quilt came out beautiful thanks for sharing your know how
