Ivor The Engine was a great little series. I loved to watch it as a very young boy in the very early 1960's. Keep up the good Gauge 1 work. It's a pity that someone like Hornby or Bachmann doesn't make a RTR version of Ivor as I would certainly buy one with a few trucks. I guess Thomas The Tank Engine has cornered the youth market.

Movin’ Movin’ down the line, Swingin’ Sway from side to side. They’ll be rockin’ and a rollin’ don’t you come for the ride of your life. You’ve gotta be fast for the victory dance, cause 5 coaches better you are slow, so Percy will help you start our new song: “Come for the ride” Harold the helicopter will race with your life. Everyone around shouting “More, PLEASE, more” Can’t get enough can’t get enough, off these thrills. And just when they think they can’t take anymore, they better hang on tight cause here we go again. Slip! Slide! Come for the Ride! Rockin’ Rockin’ on the railway. Rollin’ Rollin’ on the railway. Movin’ Movin’ down the line, Swingin’ Sway from side to side. They’ll be rockin’ and a rollin’ don’t you come for the ride of your life. Now Gordon‘s in a hurry, cause Thomas made him wait. We’ll have to go much faster. We really can’t be late. Soon the coach was rockin’. It swayed from side to side, with bath water spillin’ and a splashin’ inside. [a scene cuts but shows Gordon looking at Sylvester the cat dressed like Buster Moon, holding the magician’s wand and opening the door, and glaring with his teeth] Rockin’ Rockin’ on the railway. Rollin’ Rollin’ on the railway. Movin’ Movin’ down the line, Swingin’ Sway from side to side. They’ll be rockin’ and a rollin’ and a reelin’ on a railway tonight. Rockin’ Rockin’ on the railway. Hi Peter, Thank you for your reply. I did find a speed controller on Amazon but will have a look at the site you have shown Me. I have built a kit version of Ivor in card from rail-roadmodels and have just some detail to do and the chassis to build. regards Paul.
This is great i want to have that steam eingine
This is so cute! Greetings from Southern California. How did you come up with axle bearings for this? Were they part of the original gearbox assembly?

So don’t they come along and join you for the ride, just hang on tight catch your breath and come for the ride. Rockin’ Rockin’ on the railway. Rollin’ Rollin’ on the railway. Movin’ Movin’ down the line, Swingin’ Sway from side to side. They’ll be rockin’ and a rollin’ don’t you come for the ride of your life. You’ve gotta be fast for the victory dance, cause 5 coaches better you are slow, so Percy will help you start our new song: “Come for the ride” Harold the helicopter will race with your life. He’s just having fun that Percy likes. Around any corner’s he’s like that song: “Come for the ride” “Come for the ride” Come -- for -- the -- ride! Rockin’ Rockin’ on the railway. Rollin’ Rollin’ on the railway. Movin’ Movin’ down the line, Swingin’ Sway from side to side. They’ll be rockin’ and a rollin’ don’t you come for the ride of your life. Watch Duncan go. He can really rock and roll! He can slip, he can slide, he can sway from side to side. So when you hear him coming and you hear coming and you hear his whistle blow, you better step aside cause he can go go go [A scene cuts and shows Duncan trying to find Fievel the mouse and Wakko Warner chuckling] Fievel: Hoo, ha, ha! Rockin’ Rockin’ on the railway. Rollin’ Rollin’ on the railway. Movin’ Movin’ down the line, Swingin’ Sway from side to side. They’ll be rockin’ and a rollin’ don’t you come for the ride of your life. Now we’re really movin’ Movin’ to and fro. Rollin’ Rollin’ on the railway. Movin’ Movin’ down the line, Swingin’ Sway from side to side. They’ll be rockin’ and a rollin’ don’t you come for the ride of your life. They’ll be rockin’ and a rollin’ don’t you come for the ride of your life. They’ll be rockin’ and a rollin’ don’t you come for the ride of your life.
