Thanks for this video. I just booked a stay for April 2023 and was a bit hesitant because of some of the current reviews stating rooms were outdated and the high pressure sales. You made me feel much better about my decision and now I'm excited to go!

Vidanta is truly an amazing place to be at... The lazy river is lots of fun!! We had stayed at the Grand Luxxe 2-bedroom condo, we had a group of 20 in 3 rooms. Happy to see a happy big family!!

Thanks for watching and for the compliment. My grandkids were much younger and smaller so we were all able to get a 2 bedroom unit. We are going to visit Vidanta's Riviera Maya location in June and we are renting a 2 bedroom and a studio to accommodate all 9 of us. My grandsons are now teens and much bigger so therefore are adults. Good luck! We love Vidanta

We vooked an excursion through a 3rd party which you can do directly on-line or at their desk at Vidanta. You may save some $$ if you vook directly on-line. Sorry, the name of the company escapes me but do a search and it should pop up. Good luck! We loved it. We will be back at Vidanta November 3 - 10.

Are you owners or just guests? Did you have to go to the presentation to get the ocean view? We are going the 2nd week in August with 11 people. Great video!!

Thanks for watching. We had a trial membership and we used our last week for this vacation. I asked for the ocean view when I made the reservation several months ago. We bought a membership for the still being built Jungle Aqua hotel. Our whole family will have access to it for many years. No annual fees, only usage fees when you use your weeks. Better than other companies we have been offered memberships. Have fun! We thoroughly enjoy this location and plan on vacationing there several times and we will probably also go to their other properties in Mexico. We will be going on a 28-day Eastern Mediterranean cruise later this year so we will have videos on those ports.

Great video. We’re going in a few weeks. Does Walmart have snacks like Cheetos and Doritos? Did you take a taxi to Walmart?

We taxi to Walmart. Just tell Vidanta staff and they'll get a taxi for you. You may want the driver to wait for you at Walmart and they will for a reasonable charge. I think we paid him $10 total. Yes, they have all kinds of snacks and everything a Walmart would carry. We found the chips tasted better than the ones in the US even though they are Lay's or other US brands. FYI if you plan on purchasing alcohol, they stop selling it at 9pm sharp.

@ruthadams7133 Thanks for watching our video! I would suppose chips can be taken from the US. I think fruits, vegetables and meats cannot be taken due to possibility of spreading disease but my daughter took beef jerky and the drug sniffing dogs smelled itt and she had to open her luggage and the agents did not have a problem.

We rented a taxi which are readily available at Vidanta. It was cheap and we even had the driver stay at Walmart while we shopped for a long time and he took us back.

@@VoiceEnFuego Yes. The taxi drivers who go to Vidanta are known to Vidanta and probably registered with them and the Walmart is just like any in the US. Nobody can enter the Vidanta grounds without purpose and permission through a security gate. The Walmart is in a mall with other stores. There is also a Sams Club very close to there but we have not gone there.

You're better off going to an All-inclusive resort. This place will nickel & dime you to death. Prices are then America

We purchase food and make it in the room so not too bad. We love Vidanta but are going to experience some all-inclusives in the future. We did have one in the Dominican Republic that was all-inclusive and was a big disappointment. Thanks for watching.
