A story that needed to be told. Vidal and I started at the Coroner's approximately at the same time. He was from East of the river and I the west. He is Brown and I am Black. Our working with the dead and dealing with their grieving families caused us to reflect deeply on what we could do to improve the conditions of our individual communities . I watched Vidal struggle with his physical, emotional and economic situations. I became a Gang Intervention specialist after suffering an emotional breakdown after five years on the job. I was not well suited for the work I am happy to see him become a success in his business endeavors. He earned and deserves everything that came to him. Way to go "Vital", wishing you and the family the very best of everything for many years to come. Black Flagg, another survivor of the L.A. County Coroner's office.
