Believing upon Christ Jesus is more than just believing. There are requirements in order to receive Salvation, and one of them is repentance. Repentance is required in order to receive the gift the salvation. If one does not acknowledge their sins and believe they are a sinner and in need of a Savior, and repent of their sins, then they remain lost and undone before God. The devil believes and trembles ... James 2:19 KJV Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. Luke 24:46-47 KJV And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: (47) And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
