Hello Pocket Properties! Thanks for all your kind words. Much appreciated. I can again add wood saw, metal saw/file or other layers if anyone would be interested in those variations. Our goal is to make knives for the owners specific needs whether it’s a knife that foots into their collection or fits in their pocket for whatever mission they are out to accomplish. Just let us know!

Think William Tell famous swiss hero, it’s a crossbow on the blade. If you line up philips screwdrivers the older one is a bit longer. There were three different Victorinox magnifying lenses the gray one is 8x, the first larger clear frame had a plastic lens and was 5x, the latest version has a glass lens and is 6x. Another two layer 84mm is the Walker it adds a wood saw to the Bantam model.

Great video! As I get older I'm much more inclined to go ahead and use those treasures I've been able to acquire in recent years. I know that if I still take care of things they'll (at this point) out last me and if well maintained they'll be used and enjoyed by my son or daughter. "What are you saving it for?" is the question I ask myself - still doesn't mean I abuse or neglect what I've got just use the darn thing. You kind of touched on this when you bought two of the same knife here - I'll do that in some cases too - buy one to use regularly and another to give to my kids so they can experience the object too....

imo bigger SAK should be carried on their own, thats the point of them, i know the enthusiast like to have a nice pocket knife too but that defeats the point a little, and if you dont mind loosing corkscrew you might as well carry your fav pocket knife + victorianox rambler/manager for basicly all yoeman and scientist can offer you + saving so much space and money, or just sticking to yoeman, you get scissors a bit of bulk but far less then scientist + another big knife. thats my two sence, but its all subjective i get that what do you guys think?

Great vid. I love the cool and obscure two layer models. But I carry my beloved Scientist everyday no matter what. I just can’t seem to leave it behind even though I have lots of SAK. The Yeoman is my second choice. I always carry a Rambler in the watch pocket for scissors and mail file. Complete my knife edc with a Murray Carter Perfect model neck knife to solve any cutting task I may need

the Alox Voyageur is a 2 layer they should have not retired but plenty of modder's making them now and the 93mm versions are better than the 84mm because you get the better knife blade

Wish Victorinox would make a true camper. Saw, magnifying glass, hook, can opener, blade, scissors, pen, tweezers. Saw for small kindling, magnifying glass for starting fire and getting splinters out, hook for lifting pots off camp stove or carrying tied up fire wood, can opener for emergency opening of a can when pull tab breaks, blade for cutting rope, scissors for first aid purposes and anything else that needs snipping. These are all camping tools. Don’t need bottle opener or screwdriver. These features would make the VSAK much lighter and able to be carried in a pocket.

Hey at least you pronounce Victorinox correctly. There are KZreadrs out there pronouncing it Victor-nox and Victory-nox. So you're ahead of the curve there. Nice video.

Those scientists look so cool! For me also, the scissors are almost always redundant. I do use them to cut snarls or burs out of my dog's hair, otherwise a blade works as well or better for almost anything than small scissors.
