As a native Cape Codder, who grew up on the beach, and didn’t realize the privilege of my youth, I loved this video !! Seeing the simple beauty in the ordinary makes me appreciate all those days collecting sea glass and shells and other flotsam along the shores edge. 💙💙💙

So happy that the family vacations to the beach were something you loved. Yes, the I do believe the 🐚 bundle was purchased from one of the shops on the boardwalk!

There are many early 1908-1913 postcards that are either a shell with the town’s name on it. There are series of children at the shore, bathing beauties, seascapes, lighthouses, etc. you might consider some of these as to making your projects. Great ideas going on there.

I have a small collection of shell covered things. Several little boxes and my favorite which is a Christmas tree made from all types of shells! I always put them out in the Summer and look forward to seeing them again. Lovely video baby. 😘😘😘

At various times in my life I have been so lucky to live minutes from the ocean. I think shells are one of Mother Natures most exquisite forms of art. Love your box. ❤️🇨🇦

Another great video, your shell box your making is so pretty, love the little bird on top.I once saw an old crock at an antique show that was covered with old jewelry and old cracker jack toys, and lots of little odds and ends, it was very interesting, and if I remember correctly it was 2 or 3 hundred dollars.

I have many shells 🐚I’ve collected when I was very young in a clear vase and I also have jars I decorated with the shells and five really big ones and many medium size ones as well . I also have a big collection of sea glass I’ve found in the beach never thought of decorating a box 📦 but maybe I will thanks for sharing

Love the shell art and your trinket box! How about a row or two of bone buttons circling the base of the box, with a shell design above? I am also a fan of memory jugs. I attempted one, but had problems gluing flat trinkets on a rounded jug. I ended up using a picture frame instead and covered it with vintage religious medals and crosses. You can also use air dry clay instead of grout to cover memory jugs. TFS.

Growing up in MI there's always been shell souvenirs but i never gave them enough credit. There's a famous store up north called Sea Shell City we go to every year. I love may have to reevaluate the shells.

Your shell gold box came out beautiful. I like it the way it is. Now I’m inspired to make me own and I gave away my collection of shells. But I live near the beach and it’ll be fun to look for more. I live in the SW coast of Florida. We get all sorts of shells!

Another really interesting video. I am having big pangs of regret right now. Last Spring I discarded a very large amount of shells that I had collected for 30+ years. They were part of the screened deck decor , in a large basket. The tornado damaged the deck and most everything out there....so stuff did get tossed!!!! Now I'll watch and see what you and Mary Kay Andrews do with your Shell Art. She is doing a mirror for her new beach rental and it's on Instagram. Love the boxes!!!👵💖🦋🌹

I"m really enjoying my evening bingeing on your channel.🥰 It's a rare peaceful night at my house. Watching you is very inspiring. I may want to dabble in the shell decorating. I love the memory jug idea. Lots of shells to be had where I live. Would you share what type of adhesive you used on your beautiful box? This is where my projects begin to go awry...🤣 Thank you for your amazing content my friend. 😊💖✨🐚

When we took the Sunday school kids to the beach, I would set out assorted shells, large conch shells, starfish, and the kids would get so excited to just come upon these found shells,I took my neighbors daughter to the lake and told her to look for tiny baby octopus that end up on the shore, she was so excited and took it to show and tell for school, I got the tiny octopus from the chinese buffet 😊
