Inclusivity is a good thing so I’m not saying we stop being inclusive, but does anyone else feel like brands have all become so inclusive they all feel the same ?? Brands don’t have the same personality they used to.

Because besides a very small community of people who enjoy old vs and hold a nostalgia for it.. no one else really wants it anymore. This isn’t me stating my opinion but now they honestly just struggle to keep up with a fast paced fashion environment and especially Pink holds this really awkward aesthetic and production of bras and underwear. Rant over but not reallt lol

The old concept?… sorry but that’s when it was at its worst body image-wise. So damaging to women in general and the way we were taught to view ourselves as never reaching that standard, and our main purpose being the okay things of men

Personally never felt insecure, I just appreciate pretty people lol; but I think it’s good that it stopped mainly for the models, since a lot of them had stopped their periods, couldn’t have babies if they wanted, had disorders etc. it was fun to watch, but I understand why it’s done

I felt the same way about the VS models, they gave me so much comfort and inspiration as a lonely teen.

I had to stop in the middle of this to tell you that you are beautiful! I am a 44 year old mom of 2 daughters who are 18 and 22 and we are so very close. It saddens me that you don’t have a relationship with your mom but I completely understand. I don’t have one with my mom. Family can be completely toxic. I’m saying that as my girls grew up I taught them that those models were not the real authentic representation of women. A lot of these models were on drugs to stay thin, bulimic, anorexic, sleep deprived, not healthy at all but they were beautiful. I wasn’t teaching my girls this because I was jealous of these women or am not empowering to women, I was teaching them this because there are very few girls that find a healthy way of getting there….. eating healthy, working out, getting good rest. I think you have had to learn a lot of that on your own and I commend you for doing so. You are stunning with or without makeup and you seem to have a great personality. Just know that young girls on here are looking up to you ❤️

You replicated this look perfectly! I recently became estranged from my mom (intentionally), so I’m sorry to hear about what you’re going through. It will be OK. I made a decision a long time ago to remove any negative people from my life, and that includes family.

1: prep your skin (moisturiser, spf, clarifying cream, clarins face tanner, bronze drops etc) 2: primer 3 a little bit of dewy foundation (light to medium coverage with a radiant glow) 4: very light concealer under eyes and blemishes 5: set the concealer with powder 6: bronzer high up and not below cheek bone 7: concealer under the bronzer to sculpt face out 8: liquid blush on high points of cheek bones (nars orgasm is a good one) 9: little bit of powder blush on top 10: brows 11: champagne eyeshadow on the lid and up to the brow bone and crease 12: brown eyeshadow too in crease and to get rid of pigment 13: little brown eyeliner wings 14: highlighter on top of cheek bones too 15: powder highlight in corner of eyes and cheek bones 16: long pretty lashes 17: pillow talk lip liner and gloss 18: bronze on collar bones

As someone who used to be super insecure about her looks and used to compare herself to other good looking models, I think as I grew up I started realizing that there is much more to a woman than just beauty by that I don’t mean looks don’t matter, they do but excessively caring about appearance won’t get u anywhere, I started valuing myself once I started developing my intellect, intelligence and working on my inner self and personality. That’s when I realized there is much more I need to improve about myself than just caring about my looks all the time. Beauty is sadly not permanent and will fade with time, intelligence and intellect won’t, bc it’s something u got to earn and work for it. With that being said I hope younger girls these days would start valuing themselves by increasing their knowledge and intelligence instead of being obsessed with looking a certain way to feel “valuable”. Real women are the ones that bring value to the world by developing our society. Not born with “good appearance genetics”.

I returned to luminous silk for the first time in maybe 10 years. It is super versatile right? I forgot! I just bought it again, so beautiful - doesn't create those "pore dots" that basically caused me to stop wearing foundation altogether. I use the tiniest amount, couple dots around the center of the face. A bottle will last me forever. A modern application of a timeless product!
