i think that her voice just sounds a little bit strange when she's talking in english... if you hear her talking portuguese, it sounds MUCH better...

Her voice changed. Try searching for "Sao paulo Fashion week 2002" here on the tube and you can hear her voice as it sounded when she was younger. Much lighter.
