We all do from time to time, which is sin willingfully or unwillingfully. What you must do is not be hard on your self and you must forgive your self. You must also accept forgiveness that God has already given you, when you asked for it. Nobody is perfect, but just try to have self discipline. Even if you stumble, just dust yourself off and stand up again with sincere repentance as well as asking God for forgiveness each time! Another way to stop the addiction is to keep watching Christian Podcast like this, listen to positive messages, change your environment when tempted and keep yourself busy. Also, believe that you are free from the struggle and will stay free, and try to avoid any trigger points or situations that will tempt you to go astray from God's word. Remain blessed:)

Thank you, I needed to hear this. I have been so hard on myself because I have felt I am such a bad Christian and that I grieve the Holy Spirit. I am trying to get closer to God but somehow the flesh and bad habits keep winning.

You are so welcome sweetheart. Don't be hard on yourself ever and you are not a bad christian, but a work in progress. God still love you, in spite of the bad choices you previously made, and he see you as the great masterpiece he created. Be strong and don't give up. Also watch It's the Heart that Matters by Joel Osteen on KZread. You can win by overcoming the flesh and bad habits, by letting go and letting God take charge. Keep fighting the good fight of faith.
