I can't help but to think the MTV VMAs team told Monet's team (who reached out to inquire about only the possibility of just performing at the VMAs in September) that "it wasn't her time"???? Apparently whomever said that has since received the urgently needed medical attention for hearing and vision issues. Given this clip (well done) I assume they're all better at the MTV VMAs after "hearing" the announcement about her 7 (Plural) Grammy nominations and "seeing" eeing 👀 it in industry blogs, electronic, print media (and social media). Praying this phenomenal artist sweeps all categories at the Grammys. Monet is pivotal on all levels (yet has not been jaded by the industry) and has remained grounded and humble...(rare in the entertainment and music industry these days). She is a breathe of fresh air and worlds apart from the typical mundane and expected in music. She is sheer perfection and in a word 🔥 FIRE!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Agreed! The choreo after the second verse hook- they zoomed in chest up, when the shouldve zoomed out full body shot! Jimmy Fallon took her performance down for 3weeks isk why but he put it back up this week!🔥 captured the best version IMO🤌🏾

She's a weak singer, hence why you rarely see her sing live. She's cool but she's more of a dancer/songwriter than she is a singer.

I am so glad I said that. Not only is she a singer shes a dancer and a incredible ass songwriter. She has worked so hard and now shes a 7x grammy nominated artist and she on the Billboard list for best album. I couldnt be more proud. I love you Vic keep shining. 🤎🤎
