I walked across the bridge in the 70's, incredible experience, no other falls like it in the world, The Victoria Falls and the Grand Canyon are places that you just cannot take a bad photograph, both are full of wonder and atmosphere.

This is an incredible experience. I hope I live long enough to return home to experience a helicopter tour such as this. Very well done.

Two weeks ago, I walked on the Victoria Falls bridge connecting Zimbabwe and Zambia. Had a spectacular view of the mighty Victoria Falls. It is a life long experience. The bridge is a master piece of Structural Engineering.

Yes someday more people will be migrating to Africa.

Victoria Falls was a well known sight back in the early 1870s when Selous visited it. It is amazing to think that water like this has been flowing constantly through all the succeeding historical events. But then, thinking back, it was probably flowing just like this when the great pyramid of Giza was being built -- and even much further back in time since before humans existed - a great constant.

The Victoria Falls are impressive and always a beautiful sight, but not "the largest waterfall in the world", as stated in the description, by any measure. Angel Falls in Venezuela are nine times taller, and Tugela Falls in South Africa are just a little bit shorter than Angel (although both are mere creeks with very little water volume). In terms of water flow, Boyoma/Stanley Falls in the DR Congo and Khône in Laos have over 10 times more flow than Victoria (up to 50 times in exceedingly rainy seasons at their headwaters). However, neither Boyoma nor Khône are tall - they're just short of being rapids. Still, both Niagara and Iguaçu/Iguazú exceed Victoria in mean water flow. Victoria may occasionally and temporarily surpass Iguaçu if the former is in the rainy season and the latter is in the dry season, but Niagara is fed by huge Lake Erie and has very little seasonal variation. Another waterfall that is very impressive, but little known because it's extremely remote and accessible only by chartered plane, is Kaieteur in Guyana, a single drop over twice as high as Victoria and with a very large water flow - a rare combination of *both* height and water volume.
