She is a nice lady, with a pleasant voice. And she worked hard to get where she is. So credit where it's due. :-)

Acoustic music suits her voice. She should have done more on this genre rather than pop..I didn't really like these songs before until i heard this acoustic version & she sang it really well. I love the fact that it's live..and she has a great personality as well..

I hate when people say she can't sing. They're just jealous of her. She's funny, sweet, kind, and talented in both singing and designing. Love you Posh!

Go Posh! When she went solo she had a lot of pression since the press labeled her as the one who couldn´t sing which was no true, I think that afected her confidence. She had pretty good songs, but the critics stil bashed her... she should get her voice trained and make a come back.

You are exactly right. She used to have confidence. I have watched interviews where she talked about how passionate she is about music. She was so excited to be recording solo music. She was really enjoying the industry but all the press were so cruel to her. Some people can ignore the tabloids but I think she just insecure and now if you here her talk about music she will say it was fun back then but I was never a good singer, or i didn't enjoy it much. My true passion is fashion." I don't believe her. You can't turn off your love of music. She just has lost all confidence in herself and it makes me really sad. It was so nice to see her on the Return of the Spice Girls tour. Whenever she would sing her solo parts the crowd would cheer and she looked so shocked like "are they cheering for me" and then that shock would turn into the most beautiful smile. I wish she could find that confidence she had in the 90s

I heard the song too much of something (1.40 song time) and her line there, it shows off her singing skills, hers for me in that song had the best line because she had a feminine powerful voice..I know a good voice when I hear one..I think for me if she was strong eniuhh she could have been the robbie williams of spice girls, if she was just strong enough ti go the distance...

I was surprised just how good Victorias vocals were on this (I havent watched it for many years) Especially on A mind of its own, she is actually a good singer. She gets slated for no reason and admittedly there are better singers in the Spice Girls but she certainly isn't the worst. I was really impressed by this video, well done Posh!

she's amazing and I love her voice besides she has a beautiful family and she's perfect so haters if you don't like her then don't look up for her name or watch videos about her.

She's a fantastic singer. She's much better when her voice goes higher, sounds like she's been classically trained. Call me crazy, but I'm curious to hear cover a Disney song. Like, Little Mermaid for example. Her voice would sound wonderful doing that.

It's no surprise considering that she started and trained as a Broadway-style singer. She even sang a Broadway song for her Spice Girl audition. And we all know many Disney singers are Broadway performers.

...been a fan of her since day 1. And yes she doesnt have voices like Aguilera or Pink. But she can sing! She was in a girl group and she had her part/voice in songs they sang and created. When people says, she cant sing. I dont agree with that. She also did vocal training and stuff when she was in the group and solo.

I love her tone and voice she can sing and has a classic ballad sound but she loved rnb music, I think her solo material is great. Love the first album and wish she’d delivered her second and third demos as a proper album and not giving two F’s what people think as she has talent. She writes her music sings it well and does all her background harmonies. What more do people want these days? That should be enough. Well done VB your songs have stood the test of time and listen to an album which some of the world / UK just wasn’t ready for as still sounds great 20 years later!

Yes you're absolutely right! Some of her songs were waaaay ahead of their time. Many of them I feel could have been hits today. She was never given a chance and she let too many people get in her head. i Love her voice and music!

The thing also was vic never was there for the recording of wannabe so her vocals were not on that song,the press got wind of it and that was how her not being able to sing started. I believe she can sing just not confident in her voice and was given so much crap she lost her confidence totally now she is an amazing fashion designer and works bloody hard more then the other girls do

@@sarahbailey6996 Hi Sarah this isn't exactly accurate. Victoria was there for the recording of Wannabe. She just was not given a solo part of the song, but she did sing in the chorus (given the lower harmony of the chorus). I don't know the reason why but if I had to guess, I would think it was because it was such a high energy song and their first single ever , they needed a lot of excitement and energy while Victoria is more of Pop/R&B type demure voice not as energetic as a Geri/Mel B/ Mel C type voice. It wasn't until their second single "Say You'll Be There" she was given a solo cause it's more of a R&B ish/Pop tune. And because she wasn't given a solo part in their first single Wannabe, I believe that's why they let Victoria have a solo verse in their comeback single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) a slow ballad type of song and Mel B was not given a solo in the comeback song because she had multiple solo lines and a rap in Wannabe (Mel B only sang on the chorus and sang the very last line of the Headlines)

Of course she can sing for the God shake.. She works hard more than other girls.. Just watch her audition for spice girls and see how great her techniques was.. She sang a cabaret song..

There were many times where I thought Mel B was singing and then later I learned it was Victoria. She sung more than I thought! :) Very surprising

Unfortunately, it's not up to the singers how much they sing. The way it works is the producer of the song decides who they want to sing each part of the song. That's why some people get to sing more than others because the producer may prefer their voice (since the singers are supposed to capture what the producer wants for the sound). I've seen many groups like that who have later come back and said they were sad that some people got to sing more than others in the studio (Xscape, Destiny’s Child, 702 are just some groups that come to mind). I wish they would always let people just have equal singing parts. Thankfully Victoria got to sing more when Geri left and they wanted a more R&B sound with the 3rd album. Mel B and Victoria love R&B music, Mel C not so much but she did good, Emma prefers older music from 60s but she did good with R&B too. Geri does not like R&B haha

+Estebanscolari Well The Voice is a show looking for exactly what it's called...The Voice. The Voice refers to a big singer/voice such as a Whitney Houston, Patti Labelle, Donna Summer, or Mariah Carey. I didn't post this video to prove that Victoria is one of the best singers in the world. I just wanted to show that yes she can actually sing because some people think she has no vocal talent. Thankfully many people have watched this video and agree that yes she does have a nice singing voice. No she is not an AMAZING singer or vocal diva, but she does have a lovely voice :)
