for me, its the fact that Viktor had both Eros and Agape planned out before Yurio even showed up He said his agape was a feeling, but feelings for a particular japanese skater who won his heart and his Eros at the banquet I saw someone on pintrest theorize that the reason viktor looks so tense in episode 1 when he watches yuri skate, its because he's most likely thinking: This guy can skate! hes skating my gold medal routine, so why does he fail in competition? maybe he doesnt get enough support from his coach, he wouldnt ask me to become his coach in the first place if he had all he needed. Then he goes to coach him Then he figures out that his lovely fiance has absolutely no memory of the time he was completely wasted and stole his heart
