It's only a good comeback if you don't know what happens when you die. I believe what the Bible says in Eclesiastes 9:5 and 6, that the dead are not aware of anything. They are completely inactive, or basically in deep sleep. When you know that, it frees you from the fear of death.

It’s funny when victor says you have never tried it before. Because he has died hundreds of times. Such a great in depth character that exudes wisdom and experience, but is also naturally violent and animalistic. He was my favourite character by far and Liev nails the role

​@@whitesimurgh6363 He has taken bullets to the head. Been hung. Etc. His healing factor keeps him from dying but he experiences the closest thing to death one could when taking fatal wounds. This is insinuated at the start of the film when he and Logan were before a firing squad and he tells Logan to wake him up when it's over.

Also it's shown that Logan and therefore probably Victor can recover from cardiac arrest. Despite being clinically dead, if there's still enough energy in their body they can actually recover even from that. Another example would be Logan drowning in Days of Future Past. He must've been at the bottom of that river for hours, but he survived. No way that's possible unless his body was healing him to make up for the lack of oxygen, causing him to die and revive repeatedly. He probably would have eventually died permanently from this, but he was rescued before that could happen.

Huh. He actually would have been incredibly valuable. I wish they could have brought him into the movie once they discovered the prototype sentinels. Would've seemed like an easy solve until Magneto started puppeteering them at least.

@@niallreid7664 Even better, he could de-power them; i.e. shut them down. But given that he was able to control the elevator earlier in the movie, and reverse the train in this scene I'd say he has at least some degree of fine control over circuits

2:15 he smiles because by taking out the light bulb he knows for sure that bradley is using his powers. his powers flickering the light bulb because he's afraid

I do enjoy the movie regardless of the writing.

Can we take a moment to consider just how NEXT LEVEL bradley's power is? He can induce electrical currents. You see him do it in the movie, but this motherfucker could walk into a nuclear weapons vault, and launch missiles WITH HIS BRAIN ALONE. Without ever leaving a fingerprint or touching anything but the floor. He can just bypass any security that involves electricity instantly by simply inducing a current on the far side of the last relay before any lock mechanism. Give him weapons controlled by servro motors and a few cameras, no power source required, and he's a one man walking army. Sabertooth took him out early for a reason, you give this man a reason to be violent, and time to prepare for it, and you lose. Period. You'll never even see him. He could quite literally get in an iron man suit, and power it without an arc reactor, and it would do what he wants.

Since he can affect electrical currents. its possible for him to affect humans. Manipulate electrical signals in the body. causes muscles to contract. the heart to stop. mess with electrical signals in the brain and heart.

Stopping the electric signals in his brain would be the easiest, but the comic book version of Bolt can control lightning, shoot electric bolts etc.

Liev as Sabertooth was such a good cast. Had they let him go full R, this would have been a performance on par with Heath Ledger’s joker.

Batman is the one who went through trauma and kept pushing forward and decided to better the world. Joker is the one who crumbled and snapped under the weight of the world, and wants everyone to do just do the same pretty much, he's a broken man. They're two sides of the same coin, that's why they're archenemies. I'll never understand glorifying an insane spinless guy who decided to say F everything instead of the one who still kept his head up and better the world the best he could. There's a reason there's more violence and shootings on the news these days, its because as a society people have just gotten SO MUCH WEAKER mentally than any other generation or point in history in the past.

Victor Creed was the best thing in this movie, horrible cgi claws destroying a bathroom aside it's a shame they never used him again. Really wish we lived in the timeline where he was able to perform in Logan and a true final send off for the og x-men movies.

I had no issue with it, that being said if we are going to be bringing Wolverine into this universe I think I would be more fascinated in seeing a redo of the other Wolverine movie. Imagine doing a Wolverine movie where you can use Stick, Elektra, Echo, the Hand, and even the Silver Samurai I don’t wanna say it would be perfect but by this point I am kind of done with the Stryker and/or Creed storyline

Bradley could've escaped this situation if he invited Victor for second breakfast.

I always felt bad for this dude's death cause he actually has a pretty damn useful power, one which he could have made some decent $$$ out of, but he chose to live simply. I imagine part of that is to not draw attention, as alluded to by his comment on thinking it might have been Wade to show up at his doorstep. At the same time, that scene where he sits down and drinks while looking around him shows that there's still some joy in that more humble lifestyle that he's got. Shame Liev Schreiber had to end it for him.

If he can control electronics, why not just go to vegas and win a large jackpot on a slot machine? Beats working at a carnival.

The light bulb was a symbol of his life. Earlier the boy took the bulb and electro lighted it. But this time Victor overpowered his power with fear.

Thanks and remember, Sabretooth always Remembers no matter what time frame it is, he always comes to kill.

Liev Schreiber is way better as Sabretooth than Tyler Mane, He really has that intimidating presence in every scene.

It is absolutely criminal that we never got Sabertooth movie.

All Xmen movies had emotions from top to bottom. Missed the old movies

X-Men Origins Wolverine (2009) was ok. The Wolverine (2013) was badass. Logan (2017) was sad.

It'd be cool if Bradley could control the electricity within people's nervous system, and short circuit them, essentially stunning/paralyzing them. That would be a cool quirk of his powerset and a nice upgrade. Then Victor would have been screwed.

Am sure he can…with a little more training on the full extent of his powers and how to use them. It’s why one can never underate training under Prof Xavier. His abilities or powers would surely have blossomed under the Prof’s Tutelage. And it would have been fined tuned also.

This is a really well done and good acting, you can feel the fear in Dominic Monaghan and the intimidation from Liev Schreiber.

"I'm not afraid of you" Well he doesn't look like he isn't ...

Liev Schreiber's performance in this movie is simply top notch. In fact, one of the best thing happened to this movie, along with Hugh Jackman.

The first part of that last line is cold blooded as hell and deserves to be in a better movie

Boy talk about one of the BEST killing scenes in a movie. The facial expressions and lines are done PERFECTLY.

I always liked this guy because if he was born 30 years later he would be an omega level mutant

@@samuellopez479his gifts weren’t up to par with the challenge he faced. Most he could do was turn off his lights but he was literally cornered. When he concentrated on the bulb. I had a feeling he was trying to burn him like he did with the other guy and his girlfriend. Had no effect or Victor just proceeded to grab it with is finger nails and extended them. Which showed that he was really in trouble.

He did a good job at sabertooth, so did the first X-men actor also. I hope the next sabertooth we get could be a really good one too.

Huge upgrade when u compare this sabertooth to the sabertooth of the first film.

One of the best powers ever, free (from money and pollution) electricity. If Bradley lived today and he had an electric car, he could drive forever.

Wait this guy can produce infinite electricity for a whole block but the only thing he does with it is using light bulbs and toys? That's like Magneto using his powers only to turn the TV on/off at a distance and closing windows

Was 1979, not much electrical technology for him to work on back then. He could proboably make money with it in something like slot machines, but that would attract a lot of attention too.

This movie is hot butts but the "how do you know, you've never tried it before" line is real great

That’s what always struck me as the most unrealistic thing about the x-men movies, there is no way capitalism as a whole wouldn’t have rather exploited their powers for big profits instead of trying to suppress and ultimately eradicate them (which I will grant may be inhumane but potentially for the best considering how unimaginably powerful mutants can potentially be)

Why couldn't this movie center itself more between Hugh and Liev? They're easily the best part.

I can imagine jacksepticeye playing Bradley

Liev schreiber was amazing as sabertooth...scary,cruel, badass and strong character... totally a great villain.. sadly FOX never used his potential

Yeah. Victor was a complete POS for saying that. There was no need to break Bradley psychologically before killing him. He had no way of defending himself anyway.

He needs a conductor to carry electricity through. He can't just direct electricity wherever he wants

@@anonym58063 he's lighting up light bulbs without touching them , he lit a bulb while it was in victors hand , where's the electricity coming from , obviously from him ,even if not from him he's controlling it

@@eternalproductions but those bulbs have enough conductive material to carry electricity through. He can't just take a simple piece of paper and electrocute it (for example).

The cleanest Sabertooth I've ever seen. The one from the first X-Men was the most physically accurate to me. Man, if he had more screen time with this type of dialog..."You've never tried it before..."...Man they got Huge in the Yellow suit now... Can ya try 1 more time with that big mfer from the first one or someone like that? LOL

Bradley could have easily electrocuted Victor. Not sure why he went down so easily

Victor has the same abilities as Logan, they are even brothers. With his healing factor he cannot be electrocuted. That would just piss him off the more

Electricity does more than just cause pain. Your muscles will contract violently that will incapacitate Victor, as long as the electricity keeps flowing.

@@shumugaming Electricity of a high enough voltage, but he is never shown utilizing any electricity in such a manner. And even if he could, he probably couldn't do it forever, and Sabertooth's healing factor would eventually win out. Sabertooth also has superior senses, so the idea of fleeing from him is not a particularly good solution either. Bottom line is that Sabertooth is basically invincible to someone like Bradley AND has the offensive weapons to hunt him down and kill him. He is dead regardless of what he does.

@@shumugaming you are thinking of real life electricity. With movie electricity, the character merely needs to remember that they are relevant to the plot to power through it.

why did the dude get so offended and call him freak when he couldnt turn the light off the bulb lmao. does he do that for every carnival game he loses?

Because when he screwed out the lightbulb it got brighter and hotter, since Bradley was using his power on it. The dude then dropped it because it got too hot and although he can't explain how Bradley did it, he does suspect that Bradley is somehow involved. Also it made him look bad in front of his girlfriend and that hurt his pride. And it's not that uncommon for a carnie to be called a freak in general.

A big fan of Liev Schreiber - in the X-Men series as well as Ray Donovan... Excellent actor. Be a heck of a counter-part to Keanu Reeves in the John Wick series - imagine Liev Schreiber as the 'bad guy'

What are the limitations to Bradley's power? Like seems obvious that his powers are to control electricity flow. Since the nervous system in itself is a very large and complex circuit (right?) Couldn't Bradley have just stopped the current flow in the nervous system of Victor, saving himself?

Neuro system works with electronics, if you can control electron, you can control anybody's neuro system, or at least shock them to death.

Brad’s game is like that guy in the spaceship shooter game booth from Despicable Me where Gru got Agnes her stuffed unicorn

Honestly if i knew a psychopath like sabertooth or wade would eventually come kill me i d fill the place with traps and would have at least one way to escape .

This scene is one out of the many few scenes in this movie where I felt like care was placed into making it. It sucks we didn’t know much about Bradley before this scene.

I wish Bradley’s powers were more impressive. Being able to control biological electricity would’ve made him pretty potent against Victor

Leiv is absolutely terrifying in his effervescent brooding insanity and animalistic rage

If Liev isnt in Deadpool 3 thatll be twice weve been robbed off two more outings as Sabertooth, other being in Logan.

Why did Victor kill Bradley again...? Like... What was the purpose of killing the others?

Never understood why every non mutant in these movies seems surprised by people with powers. You'd think they'd be used to it by now, especially something as simple as someone keeping a lightbulb lit lol
