In reply to ‘Really?’ I traveled to Medjugorje this spring. I found none of the visionaries ‘rich’ or living in splendor. They seem to live quite simply and with great humility as opposed to the fame they could carry. Mirjana often carries food to the pilgrims staying in her lodging and serves us meals. My time there was spent in prayer and worshipping God. I felt the love of the village where locals greet strangers with a smile and kindness. Have you even been to Medjugorje? And yes, I do sincerely believe Our Lady is appearing there. The aura of the village is ‘outer-worldly.’ My faith has grown and I respond more with love and kindness. Fruits of the spirit. God’s peace and love be with you.

Vicka speaks the truth when she said it is hard to describe the beauty of Mother Mary, for words alone could not even place Her true beauty, and when Vicka talks about "LOVE FROM THE HEART" this is also very true, i was told the same thing back in 1987, "be of a true heart when you come to Jesus, why are they called the Sacred Heart of Jesus & the Emaculate Heart of Mary, when a woman holds her new born child close to her and gives loving devotion and weeps with joy, if you could only imagine that love of Mother Mary has for each one of us and multiply that a million times over, this love no one could explain but knowing it make a change in you that is so hard to describe and you hold it dear to your heart day by day, Vicka is right when she said, " i can't make anyone believe, that is up to each one of us, to pray and with a true heart and feelings for Her Beloved Son Jesus, Mother Mary gave me hope and love, and told me, "I Am Your Mother Now" i cried tears like a river that night, because a true Mother who cared for each of us, came to me in my despair and cry for help, now i know why Mother Mary was to be the Mother of Jesus, a Woman who was so true of heart and a love for God the Father, this video brought it all back to me of what i felt in 1987.

@@laszmesz1958 Thank you for your reply to my comment, life is hard when we seek the truth as we grow into adulthood, we tend to fall out of love and seek what our eyes see and our feelings lead us, i did learn the hard way when i was younger, it was not until i ended up with panic attacks and depression later in my twenties that it all started to grow in me without God being part of my life at the time, i walked alone and thought i could do without any help, but i was wrong and fell into despair, and when i was in that dark place in life i was alone even though many where around me at the time, but no one could help me, for it had to be me that had to do that for it was me that came away from God, the cure for that is through Repentance, Confession, and Prayers. I did think my life was over on earth, i had no hope of getting better from the darkness i brought on myself, i do not wish anyone to go through that, and if was not for that little blue book about Mary and a set of rosary beads, i do not know where i would be this day, all i know is that this truly amazing woman gave me a chance to bring life back into me through Her love for those who have back slid from Her Son Jesus and Father God, am i an expert with words of the heart, "no" but i know that the love of God is a loving Father for His children if they return back to Him, i have tried to explain for over 35yrs to others about the love of God, but it was hard to put into words of something that many are seeking with their own hearts, am i the answer, i say "no" for each of us has to pray from the heart of true prayer and not just from empty feelings and words, i may sound a bit harsh there, but i don't mean it to sound like that, for it was Mary that said to me "That you must pray from the heart" and that what i say to people, Pray with all your heart, God bless you Lasz. and thank you for your response to my post.

When you are drawn to go to Medjugorje, it is Our Lady calling you to come and receive a special blessing. I think it is impossible to resist such a call. I went not seeking any signs but just knew I had to be there for Our Lady’s appearing to Mirjanna. You cannot see daily life the same after being present for such a grace filled miracle. Signs were given to me, but the greater blessing was realizing how wonderful the love is that the Holy Mother has for each one of us as children of God. In describable, amazing LOVE in spite of our undeserving and our smallness of heart. Our Mother comes to give us God’s love especially when we think we are so far from deserving it. Come as you are...and never be the same.

God bless Vicka. Medjugorje is wonderful it's not fanciful. You need to go find out. It's an experience. My experience is the traditions of all Christians are not contradictory or need amending. With the rosary we get close to God. I know Anglicans, free churches who have miracles but these also come in our Catholic Church and these places of pilgrimage have great power to get people together and all nationalities coming to pray. Having met quit a few pilgrims we all have the same stories mysteries and miracles are all part of Medjugorje

Ask her about her statement concerning the Virgin dropping the baby Jesus! I have family in Croatia and was planning to go with my Family from Zagreb to Medjugorie. My American Priest who goes every 3 months said one only gets the graces if you book ahead of time and stay at a Visionaries house because that what he was told by the visionaries. We went to Fatima instead and a woman from TotallyYours Medjugorie tours told me you no longer get graces at Fatima only Medjugorie! I washed my hands and believe it to be demonic!

Yes, you are right, everything there has a strong sent and taste, taste of vagetables and its nice smell, it is climate for that in all that area, unlike all artificial stuff in Western world and climates with no much sun. It is in all that part of the country, not just medjugorje. That was the same 1000 years ago before that circus in Medjugorje. Also Jesus said that corrupt generation is looking for signs. If walk in the Spirit of God is not a natural thing to you that comes from relationship with the Father, you will be a fanatic who looks for signs.

What do you mean by "too late"? Will I go to hell, because I don't believe in this. I am not looking for signs. But after studying the phenomenon for a long time, for me there is personally no doubt, those people are cheaters who made a living by being seers. That is unprecedent in church history. Read Bible properly, Jeremiah 7:18, 44-17-25. Also what Jesus said, my mother's are all of those who do will of God. And "Woman what do I have to do with you", Jesus said. @@patriciagoldingay I heard that too. I was there in 1989 and towns folk seem to benifit from the tourists. I did not note that any of the visionaries who were in their early twenties at the time were what I would call "rich or well off." Those that were not married were still in mom and dad's homes.

Doesn't look filthy rich to me at least she doesn't dress up like one, no jewelries no fancy hairdo no sense of fashion. I've visted Medjugorje, these little villages are taking this opportunity to make a living which is great for the people! At least, villagers are clever, not going around begging!
