This happened to my mom in the 70s on a public street...my one uncle stopped him and got us home. My mom had just left him...my aunt and adult female cousin tried to break the choke hold. He shove them off. Her husband came home and only asked me what happened and he got his 45 and made a call and his crew showed up...they found my dad at gun point and kicked the crap out of him. He only lived because the uncle who talked him down to release my mom begged for his life...but my dad never tough him or us again....my sister's ex found out because my brother and I him and explained that will never happen again and she left him. He gets nervous when he sees us publicly.

In that hotel room, he punched her in the face, giving her a black eye, during a freak off ( she probably had enough in that room and didn’t want to cooperate anymore so he punched her in the face). I’m a survivor ( left 25 yrs ago) went back to school and now I work with victims/survivors for the last 22 yrs. Please be safe, the most dangerous time is when women leave. That’s why it’s important to have a safety plan and get a restraining order! If possible go someplace the abuser can’t find you, change your number, go to a domestic violence shelter etc…

My friend left when we were in our 20s and hid out in a shelter. Somehow he found her and killed her in a murder / suicide and left 2 small children. That was almost 40 years ago and it still hurts

Poor Cassie. She endured so much with that psycho. I hope that she is healing mentally & emotionally.

The hotel should have reported this incident.

Some people only believe Cassie because he settled so quickly. More people believe her now due to the video of him attacking her.
