His standing in Germany may be comparable to Monty Python in the UK. The ridiculousness of German "official language", as he calls it, in private settings or by indignified characters is probably the main theme of his work.

Never knew Vicco van Bülow was ever interviewed outside of germany - especially because most of his satire is directly linked to the german language and lives of german culture, habbits etc... makes me wonder who on Thames Tv invited him? Brilliant!
