I really enjoyed your enjoyment of this wonderful song. Stephen Stills. No one does it better.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. ❤
I have rewatched this multiple times for your reaction. Fantastic!!!
Rest In Peace Mr Crosby
Your reaction just makes me happy. I love this song and have played the invisible drums as well😂
Beings a tear to my eye. Such an incredible song. And those delicious harmonies. Humans are amazing. You can picture driving down an endless road during early evening and this song comes on as you are getting older. Just hits different.

PURO PINCHE CROSBY STILLS NASH YOUNG
Great song👏🏻🥰‼️ I like that you didn’t cut in ‘til the end of the song! Great reaction 👏🏻❤️🔥‼️
Thank you for just letting me enjoy this song with someone! It’s almost like a stadium anthem, but the sport…Maybe our lives? Our time here on Earth and the various chapters of our lives. And their use of the Southern Cross, the guiding star in the Southern Hemisphere vs the North Star, the guiding star in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s genius because it’s the Southern Cross. The Cross. I have loved this song since it first dropped in 1982. I was in elementary school, but music has always played a big role in my life. I would even bet it increased general interest in sailing. I learned to sail finally at 27 years old. I swear this song drove me to it. ❤ It’s actually a very fun sport but I sailed Boston Harbor in a small Rhodes 12. There are, or were, affordable sailing clubs . You pay a little to go through the “how not to kill your self or anyone else” lessons and then you have access to small sailboats, recreational racing, and day sailing trips. But if I ever had an 80 foot sailboat, you better believe I would name her “Music”! Because I have been around the world, searching for that woman-girl. Who knows love can endure. And It Will! Peace.Love.Thank you. ✌️💚🙏
There's another KZread version of this song by Crosby, Stills and Nash. It shows a video that alternates between a silhouette of them singing the song and Steven Stills sailing a boat. It's alot cooler than the one in this video.
This song was a favorite of myself and my X , brings me to tears every time
ever heard bruce hornsby and the range just the way it is
The crowning cross of the end of the era of Yacht Rock.
It is a song about freedom.

Damn!!! Damn Damn. You heard this song same way I did for the first time decades ago. I remember it. You're dancing and perma-smiling at how good it is. You can't not.

Might as well make it a recruitment song for any navy.

Art Garfunkel actually didn't sing with CSN on Southern Cross. He sang with the on the song Daylight again.
Great song and I love to see how much you enjoyed it. The bass line and the harmony just make this music touch your soul. I've always wanted to travel to the southern hemisphere just to have a chance to experience the night sky that we never get to see.
Neil Young is not on this song or album. Just Crosby, Stills and Nash, and, for that matter, David Crosby is not on this song, either. This was a reunion album for the band, but at the time the song was being recorded, David Crosby was still negotiating his reunion contract. Stephen Stills does the lead vocal, and Graham Nash does the high part, but Crosby was not there. What would have been Crosby's middle harmony was done by Art Garfunkel, of Simon & Garfunkel fame.
Great reaction!
One of the best songs ever written. Just so you know, this is not bluegrass music... not even close! It is considered folk rock or soft rock. Neil Young was not working with CSN at the time this song was recorded. Stephen Stills (lead vocal) and Graham Nash (main harmony) employed backup vocals by Art Garfunkel (of Simon and Garfunkel) and Timothy B. Schmit (of the Eagles) because David Crosby was unavailable. The song was written by Stephen Stills, Rick Curtis, and Michael Curtis.
Rock on brother...
If you like guitar riffs I recommend, Green Grass and High Tides Forever, by The Outlaws. One of my favorite.
Young wasn’t part of this group. Just a rosy, Stills, and Nash, with Stephen Stills singing lead; as he did most of their songs. Stills was very successful as a solo artist, and doesn’t get even half the credit and praise he deserves as a multi-instrument musician, singer, and song writer.
Neil Young did not preform on this song. (Seen him 12 times, twice with CSN...)

This shit bangs
Ah man. You are a sucker for a good love song. Don't change. Folk Rock is what CSN&Y are usually classified as. Great song. I don't see that as bluegrass. If you want to hear a rock band doing bluegrass listen to Jerry Garcia and friends doing "Midnight and Moonlight".

Bluegrass is different than this. Bluegrass groups usually consist of a banjo, mandolin, fiddle, stand-up bass and acoustic guitars. Old time performers were Earl Scruggs, Lester Flatt, Doc Watson, and so forth.
Young was not in the band
So...maybe change the title? Neil Young had nothing to do with this song. Just sayin...Love the song. And 'twas my late mother's favorite song...
