Việt Nam Quốc Tự (Vietnam National Pagoda) - Ho Chi Minh city - Vietnam

Constructed in 1964, the pagoda was established by the Unified Buddhist Church of Vietnam on a plot exceeding 4 hectares, graciously donated by the Republic of Vietnam's government.
Following the collapse of the Republic of Vietnam's government in 1975, the new administration seized a significant portion of the pagoda's land to develop the Kỳ Hoà entertainment area and Hòa Bình theater.
In 1988, acting on behalf of the former abbot, Venerable Thích Từ Nhơn submitted an application to reclaim the expropriated land and regain ownership of the Pagoda. After a five-year process, on February 28, 1993, the government approved Thích Từ Nhơn's application, but the pagoda's land was reduced to 3,712 m2, and the original tower remained unfinished.
In 2014, the Pagoda underwent comprehensive reconstruction, culminating in its inauguration in November 2017, featuring robust and spacious architecture.
