VGN is fairly new so I have no historical context to gauge if they update their software often. My guess is no they will not.

Nice video! Question, however...: Since I'm using Linux these days I don't have the option of using mouse software. This forces me to rely on onboard profiles (or in the case of Xtrfy mice, no software at all). Does the VGN software need to stay running, or do the mice support onboard profiles?

You can set the profile on a windows machine and then save it. Then you don’t need the software anymore.

Do you think it is worth buying the Dragonfly if I already have the m800 pro? On the other hand, is there a mouse similar in size to the Lamzu Atlantis or the GPX in that price range?

Which M800 Pro do you have? The one with the 3370 or 3395 sensor? Are you looking for something bigger than the M800? Both the Atlantis and GPX are bigger. The Darmoshark M3 is a large size mouse. Also you might like the upcoming Ajazz AJ139 Pro. It is a bigger version of the very nice AJ199. It should be similar shape and size of the GPX but only $40.

Very informative. I have been using the AJ199 for 1 week and I loved the shape and performance overall. Is the Dragonfly F1 Pro any better? I am really interested in this one. Thanks.

I slightly perfer the shape and clicks on the AJ199, but the tech in the Dragonfly is better. I just got the MOBA model of the Dragonfly which added Huano switches so now the clicks are on par with the Ajazz. So the Ajazz has a slightly better shape, but everything else the Dragonfly Moba wins. I would get the Moba if I had to choose between the two.

im curious, why does the wireless dongle need an adapter? don't wireless mice just require us to plug the USB straight into the PC's ports? I see a long wire connecting from the PC in this and other reviews of this mice ( I've seen this on other mice too and I wonder if it will be hassle to cable manage it )

Wireless mice work best latency wise when the dongle is 12-14 inches away from the mouse. I keep my PC under my desk because it is a huge full tower, so if I plugged them into the back USB ports the signal would not be great. The cable just extends the dongle to get closer to the mouse so it works better.

If you have the Pro, Pro Max, or MOBA editions, it supports 4K. However, you need to purchase a separate 4K dongle, pair to that dongle, and then 2K and 4K will show up as options to select in the software.

I think they only got a partial shipment from VGN, so they are just waiting on more product into their warehouse before they can ship out more orders. It's a very in-demand product due to the specs and crazy price. I wish I had more info but that it all I know. I would email their support. Maybe they have a date for the next shipment they are getting in.

Well the tech in the Dragonfly is better, but the Zero Pro is a bigger mouse, so I would say it depends on your hand size. I have 19x10 hands and the Dragonfly F1 Pro is a better mouse for me. However, I would use the Ajazz AJ199 over both those mice.

If you are talking about the VGN hub, you cannot. If it is the regular software, there should be a drop down menu in the upper right where you can select English

Thanks so much for the guide. I could not find the software without you and also some of the stuff I didn't understand what they do in the software. (100% VGN's fault btw they should have explanations for the features). Like why is sleep mode called "firepower mode"? Without this video I would not have figured it out but now that I know what it does I set it to 5 minutes, since I like to preserve battery life when the mouse is idle. Also "hp and lp" modes didnt make any sense until you explained so thank you. Otherwise mouse seems great for the money, but the software side could use some improvement.

To be fair, VGN only intended to sell to people in China. They did not count on people like me working with companies to try and make it available to people outside of China. I believe they are working on drivers for people outside of China, but that they are still being developed. The first release was just a rough translation. I am sure a year from now, they will have much better support for outside of China.

@@Gen3DTech Interesting. I think they would do well in eu and usa since the specs you get for the money are really good. I remember when good 60 gram wireless mouse used to be like 150€ but now you can get 49 gram mouse for 60€

Guys for all that bought 4K dongle and want to update it. Dont do it! mine got stopped with a error message and after that i doesnt even work anymore. After pairing it again , it just shows a error message. so saaaaaaaaad now.
