Aww, Freddie being so insecure over the screening and everything was really sad to see. Somehow you don't expect the 'successful guys' to even worry about that sort of stuff anymore, but they're all human like the rest of us. This vid shows an amazing contrast between the shooting days, where everyone is pretty happy and energetic, and the post production days where everyone is just completely wrecked from working full days and only getting 3 hours of sleep or so. If there's anything I love about Freddie and Rocketjump it's that they always have these long and insightful behind the scenes videos. Please never stop doing that guys, it's so fascinating to see the world behind the glamour.

For real. Watching these videos again and seeing the audience at the screening made me so bittersweet! What I and countless other indoor kids watching the series on their computers or phones would’ve given to be at something like that.. Freddie’s at least got to know he’s got the hearts of fans like us, if not something as great as Hollywood itself

I was at the Pre-Screening Event and brought my friend whose never seen VGHS (that's us @ 13:36 under the spotlight) . After traveling over 2,500 miles to get to the Los Angeles Film School to see Season 3, I left the theater with only one feeling: satisfaction. The hours of being crammed in a plane, the jet lag, the acute food poisoning from Jack In The Box, all of it was so worth it to see VGHS on the silver screen! By the time the credits rolled I was floored by what I had just seen. It was an amazing ending to an amazing series! Season 3 was highly entertaining, memorable, and yes, it was "likable". I look forward to your future projects to come!

Damn. This reminds me of staying up all night editing before the premiere of a lot of my school projects. I just did this on a way smaller scale. I can't imagine doing it for weeks/months.

Honestly VGHS was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. any sort of sequel would be amazing. I watched all the episodes in 2 days and I hate myself for not dragging it out longer. couldn't take my eyes off the screen!! thanks for the great show guys. your hard work paid off.

It was more than just good enough. Throughout the second season, your style changed a little and during the third it got even more "relationshippy", but it the story had a heart, and in the last episode you overwhelmed us with more than we dreamed of. I'm seriously not lying.

And now we know why this was the last season.... just look at Freddie and Matt. They're working into the early mornings trying to get everything done and it has been like this for the past two seasons too. It was just too much for them to handle and that's why they decided to make this the last season.

going to interesting to see where freddie and others are at in lets say 10 years, especially if you've watched his stuff from years ago

I’m so happy this show exists. I bet Freddie thinks that if streaming services were as prevalent as they are now somebody would’ve bought it in a heartbeat. Its so unfair that so many crappy shows get a ton of money and these guys had such a hard time.

Man, Keanu Reeves was right to do what he did. With Freddie and the Crew at odds at ends with showing the BTS of all this and making VGHS, yes, it makes people forget what the process is and how nuts it is. It actually makes acting look so much easier than being these guys. I wonder if anyone heard about Keanu Reeve's generosity where with the Matrix Movies, he made so much, that he (doesnt think too much about money but thats a different story) that he gave his bonuses and most of the money that he had earned to various people who worked behind the scenes including VFX just to name a few. Congratulations Freddie and Crew who had made a success. Thank you for posting up this video to show what you guys go through and an insight into the BTS. Hello from Australia. Rock on guys

VGHS is literally one of my all-time favorite shows. I've seen it the whole thing multiple times, and it never gets old. Love it. Wish there had been more, but this was just right. It came out during a time before youtube red, and frankly, it would deserve a spot behind a paywall for the high quality and all the hard work you guys put in. There are plenty of shows in YTRed that honestly are hardly worth a watch, but this... this will always be top notch. Thanks so much, guys.

Huge fan but man you are/were everywhere!

Last year I was doing a post production job on a project that had a 3 week deadline, I did everything myself from sound to color correction etc. and all I kept thinking was how I got myself into Freddie & Matt’s situation. Now whenever I come back and rewatch this, I know exactly what they are going through. For some reason there’s just something so satisfying about sprawling out on floor when your are completely overwhelmed haha.

WOW My Beard Was in its Full Epic-ness That day.

OK so My GF and I just finished the entire series of VGHS! and to hear Freddie talk like that around 13:00 hurts my heart... Freddie this show made us laugh, angry, happy, cry... the entire wheel of emotions! And she isn't even a gamer and she loves this show. your videos give me so much drive to work towards my VFX goals. So NO I refuse to hear that from you! You Matt and the rocket jump team are some of the greatest and hardest working artist in the KZread/VFX community. Love you guys!

Thank you so much for everything. I'm incredibly happy to be able to say I've been watching the show since the first episode premiered, and it's absolutely incredible what you've achieved. You are the reason I am pushing myself to move into web media. Every aspect of this show has been amazing. The writing, the acting, the cinematography, the editing and visual effects, the colour, the sound. You guys have pushed boundaries. Video Game Home School was on of the most jarring pieces of film/television/media I have ever experienced. I can not get through that episode without crying. Everyone feels like they should have done better. And somehow you guys will. The bar is now set incredibly high but it's not good enough for you, and I can't wait to see what you'll create over the next few years. You guys are seriously my heroes. Thank you.

I think they just wanted us to see this so people will not ask them for VGU. loljk but I really appreciate all the insanely hard work they put into it for us. It was worth it in my eyes.

Its crazy how much work and time they put into this. Its probably the reason why there is no season 4. You can see the amount of stress put on everyone, especially Freddie.

UGH!! I was YELLING encouraging things at my computer screen every time you guys voiced your doubts. I know the inner critic (the fear that your creation sucks) can be a real bitch sometimes, but hear me when I say on behalf of many of us: WELL DONE! It was a large endeavor, taking on a 3-season story and putting it up to the scale of other professional creations; You guys did AMAZING! It not only looked and sounded fantastic but, it also felt so professional. I can't wait to see what other creations you all might do next! Thank you for taking the time to have created this series! It did so much more than simply "entertaining me enough" :)

Watching this just made me miss VGHS a million percent more

Seeing all the work this took (or at least as much of it as you can display in a 16 minute video), it's no surprise that this series comes extremely close to some of my favorite movies and shows, that are made by professionals, and have a much more significant budget. Everyone who was a part of this show was and is truly amazing and deserves to be commended. Thank you for this wonderful show that I have now watched 3 times over. It never fails to impress me.

Only editors would understand what they go through. When I edit my Paranormal Episodes I edit for about 4 weeks straight! And I don't animate anything like they do. So props to them.

I don't know if you can ever really see how much we love the show and how much it affects us, but I'll say it here that I've watched each episodes at least 2 times (plus commentary, and I watched Episode 4 easily 4 times or more) and I have episode 6 on my phone and I've watched it so many times I've lost count. It's still so good and I love it for all the timing and little things you guys put in. So thank you.

This is my favorite episode of VGHS Behind the Scenes. Great Behind the Scenes stuff but this episode was really something. Funny and emotional and everything in between. I watched it all alongside rewatching the regular VGHS and I'm about to watch the last episode. So great. Thank you.

Vghs is tv quality. An orchestra makes it even more fancy. Such a good series and so much hard work had been put into this.

That convo at the end, completely feel you on that. You just have to make something you're proud of and, like you said, enjoy the process. That's why we make film!

RocketJump!!! E V E R Y O N E here did an amazing job at putting together the best KZread web series out there! This show started in trhe head of FWong and blew up to a full blown series that had be invested and binge watching more than House of Cards and Breaking Bad! I love and appreciate all of the work that went into making this, the actors, the effects, the spoofs and reference which brings me to the biggest thank you to FREDDIE WONG AND THE WRITERS that brought this show full circle with an incredible plot and ending. It was worth it, I know you know it and for fans like me that stay along for the ride, incredible project from the ground up.

You didn't have the resources, or the time, yet you completely fucking nailed it. Pardon my french.

I've been that tired before. The whole "fuck it I've been at this way too long for way too many days" feeling sucks but man what a rush if your project is well loved and received. It makes it 1 billion times easier to do.

The production value of this show is insane!

I completely forgot about the 48 FPS. I didn't back this project, so I just watched it on KZread, in the 24 FPS world. I remember for season 2, watching it all through on VLC and really enjoying the 48 FPS sections.

Mr wong, you guys and rocketjump are fantastic, keep your head up :)

I totally will understand how this feels. I'm about to go on a little bit if a grind myself. I have a school project I'm working on, the first one at my school to use any extensive visual effects. Its due in four days on top of homework and other activities. Not to mention I also have to compose the score, do foley work, and put together some bts and a DVD if I get to it. My inaugural grind.

Now imagine being Peter Jackson and doing three LotR movies at once. It basically the same, just over a much longer timespan.

Freddie! Don't sell yourself short! Your stuff is awesome! I absolutely loved VGHS, it was one of my favorite shows of all time, it was so unique and had great character. I am sad that VGHS is over with, but who knows what you might do next?

God I loved this season. Best season by far. Best jokes, brought me near to tears quite a few times. Just great. The fear that everyone would hate it cracks me up, reminds me a lot of "6 Days to Air" the South Park documentary.
