@HD’s Quality Other than the fact that there's dozens of VFX behind the scenes in every single shot in Hollywood because that's how they work - yea, they can. However, most of them are something that was already covered through the first few videos as "general VFX tricks." You should really take a look at the effects from The Shadow (1994). There are some really interesting optical effects with some early CG mixed with hand animation. The big effect I'm still not sure how they put together is used multiple times as The Shadow appearing from thin air, hitting someone or even dragging them somewhere, while still translucent and cloaked in shadow. Then there's the killer shot halfway through where he's caught in a light and emerges from a 2D shadow on the wall.

A couple of things I noticed on Rambo. When he fires the 50 cal at the guy sitting in the jeep, if you notice when his hat flies off there is a chunk of his head in the hat. 2nd, when he stabs and slices the guy through his gut and kicks him and he rolls . If you look you while he's rolling you can see through the slice which to me indicates it was so bad the there's nothing but spine holding this guy together. So having his top half roll slightly faster than his bottom, I feel, helped convey that. Especially because he kicked the top half so it would have more momentum in the turn than the bottom...just some food for thought

What would be amazingly awesome, would be for you guys to release a compilation 4k blu-ray release of all your best work. Maybe remaster some stuff. Also, I think you guys should see if it's feasible to create your own mini version of the LED wall paneling (The Volume) that was used recently on the mandolorian. If it was feasible, something like that would be absolutely worth the investment and would increase content output aswell as creative content ideas. Just a thought.

I recently got to thinking that reviewing shows in the first season vs the ending seasons would be a fun comparison of how far the cgi goes, from budget reasons to tech advancement, or whatever. My first few suggestions for shows would be the bbc merlin show (starts out with some painful looking dragons, but gets better as it goes... Mostly) and Wynona Earp (which has cgi which varies wildly from episode to episode sometimes)

From the movie "Seventh Son" (which admitedly wasn't great) there is a four armed lieutenant called Virabhadra. He has a fight scene in the market that I was trying to figure out if they used some fantastic practical effect of if they composited in the second set of arms. But he has a brief but decent scene where he battles a number of soldiers and I cannot think how it was done. Just a suggestion, you guys are the best!
