Even though this shooter is accurate, it is too slow that we can only do four dispensers and extension during driver skills. We are currently working on a faster version, hopefully making it as accurate as this one. I like your shooter's shooting speed and accuracy :)

Try to make the shooter shoot one disc with 90 degrees instead of 80

i love how in the autonomous program section, when they go for the bonus or touchdown the mechanism slams on the floor and stands up again. awsome score tho

Um ur shooter is very unique compared to other punchers in the world. So can you explain to me how it works because I’m trying to take inspiration for my team. I have seen the shooter components in the video but I am confused at how it works.

Do you guys have any tips for stacking problems with the robot (how the disks fall into the place to shoot) just a reoccurring problem we’ve been having

We added a shaft at the end of the dumper (where discs go in the place to shoot) to let only one disc go in at a time. This way it reduces the chance of the problem happening. I think the key to prevent the problem is the angle of the dumper and how the discs go in. It takes a long time to figure out a solution.

I used to have a robot that jammed but then I looked at Ben Lippers stacking bay and compied it. It works like a charm, it has never ever jammed.

how does your shooter work?

Is your shooter using one motor or two? If you used one what torque ratio do you use?

One motor is used for the shooter, the gear ratio is 1:2 torque

@@PurinChan Okay thanks I completely forgot about torque ratios when making my shooter so I had to put 2 motors which wasted a moto

We had the problem of shooter jam before, but we solved it. We added a shaft at the end of the dumper to make one disc go in the shooter at a time, this decreases the chance of the discs going down vertically. If the saw the discs going down vertically, we would wait until the vertical ones are shot out first before we dump more discs in. Since we found out that our shooter can cope with the situation when there are only two vertical discs with no other discs on top.

Your magazine for the disks is a bit hard to make mind explaining it a bit?

Our idea then was to make the magazine as round as possible to fit the discs perfectly. This is because we found out that round magazines somehow prevent the discs from jamming. To construct the magazine, you'll simply have to adjust and add different things to meet the size for the discs, and that will be fine. :)

How the purple dispenser work ??

The omni wheel on the side can spin the purple spinner on the side, and discs slide into the basket.
