We are using a 4.5:1 ratio for our intake, a 4:3 ratio for out drivetrain, and 1:1 ratio for our lift. However, we are using bigger sprockets which make it a little faster.

How does a gravity gear work? Do you remove anything keeping the elevator in place and it just falls down?

I’m pretty sure that are using a d-switch and calling it a tribute gear, they get confused and mixed together

We are using a combination of a gravity gear system and pneumatics. There are no ratchets involved. @@6576a
can you please share ideas, how to maintain the engineering book and how to present themselves while they talk to judge.. kids in my team do the engineering book and am not sure how detail it should be

Engineering notebooks should be super detailed. A good example of this would be Riley Markley on yt.

We have a dead stop latch for our pneumatics. It starts up and when it goes down, it pushes the latch down. The pneumatic is now locked in a down position. However, there is still space for the piston to go up before it hits the dead stop, which creates a half position.

We're using the silicone Rubber Band #117B. Its a legal part that is longer than the typical #64 that most people use.

We adapted pneumatics to our original gravity gear motor sharing from our previous gen2 robot. We are using something similar to Capped Pins video of pneumatic motor sharing. kzread.info6csGaRPqZgk

Yeah and they barely revealed it. In the 2 second clip of it you can barely get anything out of it. Also they didn’t show it in there explanation.

We don't have 10 motors. We have two motors for the drivetrain and a 4 motor PTO which switches the four motor power from the intake to the dumper, allowing us to have four motor power on the intake and the lift.
