    Just wanted to say thank you for making such a thorough and detailed video. I just purchase the same equipment from vevor and I am completely new to milling. I would have been lost without this video.

    I purchased one of these a few months ago. I have used it twice to grind 50 lb bags of corn. Had no idea on how to change outer grind wheel until I saw this video. Thanks.

    Thanks. I’m not using this for the same reason as you but this is what I needed. Mine came with the wet plate in place and no instructions on how to change the plates. I’ve not been able to get ahold of anyone there to help me figure out how to do it. When I tried it mine locked up and tripped the breaker! Looks like the nut that holds the spinning one is backwards and I may not have the other one centered. Now I’ll be able to play with it a bit more when I get back home. It should make worm chow quickly! Looking forward to using it to grind up worm bedding too. Thank you! I do agree Vevor has good products but they are lacking where instructions are concerned. This will be my 3rd Vevor product and I expect it will last a very long time.

    Yeah it has to be centered also the adjustment To adjust, how fine you want your grain ground? If it is bottomed out too much towards the fine, it creates too much friction and that will make your motor bind and trip the breaker You're right, they're instructions are lacking but they do make good products at an awesome price

    @@TheShineshack I figured it was bottoming out due to trying to get it too fine in one go. I realized that it needs to run through twice if I want it fairly fine. After a second round it’s perfect for my purposes but I’m guessing a third would give a fine flour texture, a bit too fine for my worm chow. They sent me a few videos for changing the plates as well as one for grinding wet grain. I’m going to try the wet stone with some used mushroom substrate you see if it will grind the damp material to a nice fine/fluffy consistency. I usually use a food processor but I think the wet stone will work just as well and be a lot faster. I won’t know how well it works for a while since we are building a table/stand in the garage that I’ll bolt the unit to so it won’t fall when it gets hit by the lawn mower when our crazy teen boy takes it in and out of the garage. It’s not conducive to indoor use due to all the dust so it has been kicked out of the house! ;) They do have great products and customer service though. Good service is hard to find these days. As much as I’d prefer to buy American made it’s hard to beat their prices. Thanks a bunch for your video and comment. Best of luck in your endeavors!

    Did you ever figure out what the set screws on the back of grinder plate are for. Mine came loose and bound up the grinder.

    On outer perimeter of the white grinding disc. There will be three little silver studs on the outside edge of the stone and on the outside grinder of the door. They'll be three little rubber fittings. You pop them out and you take the studs off.with a Allen They clamp in the grinding Stone then the other side just spins off You add the other ones and you put them little silver pins back in the same way and they clamp it in. Always tighten them evenly. Do one turn then go to the next one. Another turn until they are all tight

    I love it! Definitely worth the investment. The best grain meal I've had by far. I've put it to the test. Pretty good in the last few months and it's work flawlessly. The only thing is the connector that holds your Hopper feeder is a little iffy, but if you run a couple screws in it, it's good. Definitely a good buy

    I think you put the legs on the wrong sides, the smooth sides should be facing out

  • @TheShineshack

    @TheShineshack

    No that's what I thought at first because of the picture in the manual but that's how it's made if you reverse the legs they would point in like a V because of the angle on the brackets they may make them different due to manufacturing error
