If anyone is curious about the Knipex 'pump pliers' or 'tongue and groove pliers' he shows here - the insulated pair are known as Knipex insulated 'Alligator' pliers (any Knipex pump pliers with the traditional groove lock 'channellock' style adjustment are know as the 'Alligator' pliers) the other pair, with the locking button mechanism, those are known as the Knipex 'Cobras' - It is easy to get them confused as they have the same shape and design in their head so it boils down to the adjustment portion....Traditional adjustment = Alligator, Locking button adjustment = Cobra....

Great video! You might try the Ledlenser brand H8R Headlamps as well. For a torch i like the Ledlenser P7.2 very much! Just my2ct.

Both of those look like mine. Mine is not the V2 though so appears to be the 11901 The V2 looks like maybe a newer version of the same one? The bad one is the one that comes in the 1889 set they sell. It’s nowhere near the quality level.

I have the TP3B and I use it more that my other bags. It comes in pretty handy.

I think the 3B actually came out right after the 4B didn’t it? I know I got the TP3 regular the year before and once I got a 4B I gave the 3 to one of my helpers. I really like the hard bottoms a lot

Millis Construction I can’t remember I got mine free with the Tech MCT I think about two years a go when the had there spring sale. The TP3B tips Over when a tape measure is on it.

This one just has a tape clip on the front, there’s not really a real hammer holder on any of the veto bags I have I don’t think. I do use the big D rings to hold a Wera hammer on my Tech Mct though

Do you ever wear in on your belt? It looks like it weights around 15 lbs. If not empty how does it feel on the hip? I use so many of those same tools even the lock nut tool. I reccomend the Volt claw as well if you ever work on large panels or vfds. I use Witte screwdrivers though

I really don’t use it on my belt. Generally hang it on a unit or just sit it down. I think I’d need suspenders if I wore it 😅

the vde knipex cobra is actually not a cobra it's an alligator. knipex alligator.

Really like to show like your tools but don't understand why people use insulated tools you're not supposed to do hot work anywhere in the United States if you are hot certified and then all you really need is a lock so I would spend my money on a very good locked that is not really like your tools lights show keep up the good work

I don’t do any hot work that I plan on 😅 the issue in a lot of old homes, 1900-1935 that I work in is that there are sometimes hidden fuseboxes and insanity like that and I’ve had cases where I have the entire home power supposedly locked off and there’s still a circuit some crazy back fed from before the main panel and I get popped. It’s just a security thing for me honestly and not an actual need because of working live circuitry. Thanks for watching 😁

@ Mark Garman, it doesn't matter what screwdrivers people use. I'm a low voltage technician and trust me 12v 100amps short on a screwdriver melts the head away. I also use insulated screwdrivers. Stop the hate man.

Every electrician probably has worked on live circuits before. Some workplaces will not allow you to power off the circuit. It could take days to start up again, lost downtime, lost wages, lost end product. Sometimes when in a factory situation you can’t shut the whole area down so you will be working live.
