Very informative video! but by definition there’s three type of icterus: pre-hepatic (hemolysis), hepatic and post hepatic (cholestasis). If you’re cholestatic your bilirubine should be high in the blood cause you cant excrete it and it keeps get absorbed. Low bilirubin is mostly caused by liver failure in other words if the hepatocytes cannot sintethize bilirubin! 🧠
