We feel we raised them up to know right from wrong what they choose to do with that knowledge is io to them . We did joting special we oived them, we feed them. Yes we used a belt on their hind parts on several occasions we even slapped them when they though they could talk back. We raised them to live the lord , to help outhers, and to work hard to neve real ass anything. We taught them to respect every living thing no matter if it walked on 2 legs or 4 it deserved love and respect. Yes I ammproud of my boys they are amazing they are who I would want to be. @MysteriousOklahoma That's not too hard for me to understand. Many thing's for us have been banned. Ghost Dancing scared the poop out of the white government. Banned! Some had their horses all killed for fear too. The kid's taken, hair cut, forbidden to speak their language and severely punished if they did. So our language's banned. History has a way of repeating itself. It really could happen. However, I am willing to comply to efforts placed to serve all people and keep us healthy. COVID-19 kills all human's and has to be stopped! We have responsibilities to ourselves, our families, our planet families.

The spirit of the warrior is best honored by the indigenous people of this nation. As a United States Marine Corps Veteran my first experience of this was with my cousins at the Winnebago Pow Wow/ Homecoming Celebration in 2013. After Desert Storm I came home to ticker tape parades and celebrations but NONE will even come close to the pride I felt for my service and the people as I did that day in 2013. I was approached and "thanked" by so many native people that day who I had never met that it overehelmed me at one.point to tears. Many of my brothers, fellow Marines, were indigenous warriors that served this nation proudly. To those brothers, the indigenous people all across this nation, and to all spirits of the warrior heart that watch over us....thank you and Semper Fidelis...

It's sad that people who have had their lands invaded by foreigners from across the sea are joining an army that goes back across the sea to invade and conquer the indigenous peoples of other areas such as Iraq and Afghanistan, to say nothing of the US involvement in Northern Africa. This is the same army that was massacring natives less than 200 years ago.

I found this one of the most moving videos on KZread. That warriors (and they are) who choose to serve a country that has subjugated their people historically and still do, have not forgotten their heritage and traditions.

The two older men that are dancing with the canes pull at me hear strings the most. They remind me of my Dad who is an Army Vietnam Vet. He is now having to walk with a cane but still has the spirit of a warrior. He would take up arms and fight in a split second. In 2020 we are short on honor. Thank you to all our Veterans. You are some of the best among us!

During the Irish famine of 1847, the Choctaw Nation sent $170 ($5,000 today) of relief aid to the Irish people, despite facing hardship themselves. More recently, Irish people came out in force to donate to a go fund me campaign to help the Navajo Nation during the pandemic. In 2020 the Irish Lacrosse team were due to play at the World Games in Birmingham, Alabama. Due to politics surrounding the game, the Iroquois Nationals were deemed ineligible. The CEO of Irish Lacrosse said "we owe the game of lacrosse to the Iroquois. They invented it - they said they received the game from the Creator". The Irish team gave up their place at the games to allow the Iroquois to play. They did it they said "because it was the right thing to do" 👏👏👏

@@eileengrant5366 The San Patricios are great heroes of Mexico, there are monuments to them in Mexico. Indeed, Native ppl and Mexicans, who are Native, have a deep connection with the Irish. My daughter just got home from Ireland, many ppl know the stories. She said the Irish were so impressed when she mentioned that she was Mexican from Yaqui and Huachelo tribes. She also said that the Irish r very warm and friendly.

Native Americans have been fighting for American for centuries. I love how they are all in camo or Dress suit dancing and never forget their heritage. Most Honor, noble, beautiful and respectful to witness. I've been to only a couple pow wows in Chicago and one in Rockford IL. They didn't have Military or VA's dance. So, the next Powwow I go to will definitely be for VA's Military 🎖️🪖 Just experiencing a Powwow is truly amazing. I love going and showing support. ❤
