Ойын-сауық

The saying goes, better late than never. This long overdue video is about my cursory overview of the Veteran Sherman Max and how it stacks up against the competition.

I've put just over 100 miles on my Max and loved every minute. I have a lot more confidence on it opposed to my Nikola, which was easy to overpower and lead to a few cut outs. Great vid as always!

That's awesome. I'm finding this wheel a joy to ride around. The low end power is a beast. But that's what a utilitarian type wheel should perform. I'd love the speed to go along with it, but hey, I can settle.

Awesome all around wheel. Stronger rim electronics and axel. Those were the three points of failure I've seen. I'd buy one if I didn't have a 2 year old sherman.

Vee Fantastic review as always. I've always been a fan of the Sherman but I think I'm leaning towards getting a 2nd or 3rd batch Master. I'm waiting to see the suspension wheel from Inmotion and I'll make my final decision. Its always a pleasure watching you Rock the wheel. Stay safe out there. Peace Love & Blessings!

Hey there Friend. As always I appreciate the love and support. I will be reviewing the Master next. The Hero came to me DOA. Don't know quite what the problem is with it. Possibly one of the battery packs went bad or it wan't wired correctly. But, I quite understand the dilemma of choosing a wheel. So many different wheels with so many different options. It makes your head spin just thinking about it all. Lol

Thanks for the review! Sherman Max is a great iteration off the Sherman which did a lot of things right from the start. If it wasn’t for the the curious prospect of suspension and higher voltages of wheels coming out this year, I probably would have one right now. It’s certainly not off the table yet, especially if these other new wheels don’t pan out in, as you mentioned, my own personal negotiable/non negotiable list. Keep up the reviews!

I wouldn't called Max is a redesign. Their next gen wheel, Veteran Abram flopped, so they pivoted to Max with small improvements, economic 101. They didn't addressed the weak rims for over 2 years, until Abram flopped, then they give us an upgraded Max with wider/thicker rim which finally solved the rim problem. However, other manufactors solved broken rims problem (Veteran) with suspension and indirectly solved heat problems for other wheels as well. Its not worthy to upgrade to Max if you already have a Sherman. Since Master 60 mph wheel is here, might as well wait for it when they have 3600 Wh. Secretly, I will tell you this, 70 mph wheel is going to be here within a year!

How is the Sherman Max different from the regular Sherman?

  • @VeeEUC

I'd say It's more powerful. I had V1 and V2, V1 being the fastest of the 3 versions came with it's fair share of drawbacks at that time. The Max is supposed to have corrected those issues. Namely the torque and rim issues.

You know., the hill I want to take it up it still drying out from the rain we've had here. Once the wind dies down too, I'll challenge it; however, I took it up a slight hill I took Version 1 up and it performed better. There were no grinding noise like what was heard in my original review of the Sherman. But truth be told, depending on the gradient of a hill, all wheels will slow down because of inertia.

Very good info packed into in your nice dialectical approach of pros and cons. My conclusion is: save money and buy youssef an Inmotion v13 in 2032...I am not joking I have (almost) no sense of humour... . I am pro suspension and pro power and pro torque. So Goodbye Sherman? The leaperkim tanks have some structural problems it's hold together by metal frame which is fine, but the b.s chinesium in rim and metal bar makes me want to keep (and forever repair the weak spots? ) my old veteran sherman. I love riding my Inmotion V11 and I love repairing veteran sherman, so all is good. I only wish I could have the best of 2 worlds: more volts, more power, less weight and better suspension. But since Lithium fire extinguishers are expensive I'll just wait for Inmotion v13 in 2036. Thx for a great review worth a lot of good info. A EUC freind saiz inmotion V12 is just as fast and stable as veteran sherman. He is still and freind (sort of) not only because I'm a forgiving sort of person. But also because he helps me repairing my veteran Sherman.. Rant over dear. I like your style.

Hey there, Stranger. I greatly appreciate your feedback and response. Although I have ridden and reviewed the V12 but have YET to post that video., there is NO COMPARISON between the two, but everybody's experience is different, so I can respect his view. Like I mentioned in my video, it just the same old stuff. If it isn't the batteries, it's the frame, if is isn't the frame, it's the BMS, if it isn't the BMS it's the cheap materials that make up the wheel., etc., etc. Again, thank you for the love and support.I greatly appreciate it and you.
