The Max is just the OG with a bit more torque and battery. This is like getting somewhat new EUC without the risks associated with it. Can't understand how they messed up that bad with the Abrams... Got my max for about a month now, great wheel for long distance riding. I was still able to overpower it under braking from 70-0, it did break exceptionally well but when I was approaching 5-10 km/h I did an ankle flip while already squatting hard and it skipped a few magnets (but it didn't cut out and I didn't fall, just had a somewhat extreme tilt back when I came to a stop). Very solid machine I'm pleased with it. I still use a smaller wheel for trips under 10km (mcm5v2 or KS16x).

My shermax has the same problem and be careful the rim is still fragile I just hit a rock yesterday and it bent

@@euclife8273 I put 44 psi in my tire now. My Sherman is still rideable, but you can definitely see all the small bends in the rim. I tried the Max last week. It handles differently at low speeds. It's also a bit wider. The pedals are a very little bit higher. At moderate speeds the difference with my Sherman isn't very big. I don't know if I should trust the Max climbing a hill. The Max motherboard looks similar to the old Sherman. So what is different 🤷🏻‍♂️?

@@euclife8273 any rim would bend from that, the issue on some OG rims was that they cracked and fell apart instead of bending

There are some changes on the motherboard, there are 4 small components near the charging mosfets, they are difficult to see if you don't look closely. LK says there's now low rpm over-current protection as well to prevent the motherboard from burning up like on OG, don't know if that is in software or hardware, probably hardware? Also the axle is different on this motor from OG, it has the same beefier axle as Abrams.

Do you have a video that shows how to change out the trolly-handle? Also you skipped the removal of the pedals? Is there a video for that? I love you videos. I have Sherman Original. :) Bent my handle. Need instructions. THANKS

Thanks for the Break Down. Only issue I have is I wanna put some Lotion on your hands. They are looking dry. Other than that great break down.

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your video. But didn't they start using 14AWG on the Shermax? If I remember correctly, the Sherman had 16AWG, isn't it? That would play a role in the motor's maximum power output.

I would like a Sherman mini 😁 with smaller battery. With same design and Ideally with space for extra battery if I need to upgrade to classic Sherman or shermanbmax.

Did you open the fuse box? Do you recommend opening it and tightening everything up as in the last gen?

Motor is same numbers of magnets on stator and rotor this is not bigger motor! Same magnet numbers and dimension like V2 sherman (ecodrift open motor to pieces and fitd is same on max like vanila) This mean 2800w vs 2500w is just play with numbers becasue free lift speed is same how MAX can be stronger then? Dont forget we compare 21700 vs 18650 varianst

The magnets are on the rotor, not on the stator. And a motor power is as well influenced by its winding and by the controller as well. Also, if I remember correctly, LeaperKim switched to 14AWG phase wires since Shermax.

*Conclusion:* It's the same thing, just with a bigger motor, and bigger batteries. - I just saved you 9 mins, jump to @8:00 for final comments.
