I bought a shermax as my first wheel about a year ago. I'm so glad I did. It has hit the deck a few times, but it's a rugged beast. The latest firmware update helps quite a bit as well! I'm definitely interested in that front light upgrade.

Hey Adam, would love to see a Patton review, I love your videos. I got it into this game on a v11 a number of years ago after watching one of your videos. Now have a v13 but looking into the Patton instead. A video talking about torque wheels would be awesome to. I’m realizing that torque and suspension is where it’s at for me. Keep up the great work!

@@pedrogabrielsalviano i know we weren’t talking about begode/extreme bull but i’m going to talk about them for a moment their market has always been people who want to go the fastest possible and they no longer have the fastest wheel out there (begode master pro with 98ish kph vs inmotion v13 with 105ish kph) so they NEED to up the voltage and extreme bull has a 148v escooter (i think) so they could go with 148v, c40 motor for their next wheel but i think they need to go higher then that to make sure they are they highest performance for long time but if veteran steal the 148v before begode/eb then begode/eb is kinda screwed and would have to go 156v+ in order to actually still have that edge for performance and i doubt its even possible to have a 156v+ euc i also count over torquing as a cutout because pretty much the same thing happens

Yes suspension is needed, additional weight acceptable because of it, but Patton... they really should redone its controller box, as controller should sit deep in the profile, not on flat surface as is done now.. sealant is needed every time when you opened the box... what they smoked, i don't know

Be aware that a light-weight charger probably produces a square wave. The sum of all frequencies is a square wave. Somewhere in that square wave is a frequency that your electronics do not like. Something that will cause a destructive standing wave.

Fun to watch. I bought a cheap EXN torque for $1,500 new (black board, no hole), and I’ll continue riding that, it’s fun. This looks a lot nicer, but at the price these things are, I feel like I’ll just end up buying a motorcycle. It’s really cool, but I could buy something that can be wet and take me anywhere and will last more or less indefinitely. It’s hard for me to justify these expensive PEVs, hopefully they make a breakthrough on cost and build quality.

I'm with Vector. When I got my Master Pro, I thought "what an idiot, I will never be able to ride this thing". And that was after a year of riding. Coming from a first wheel RS HS, then a second after about 6 months, a V8F which I bought to teach the wife, but she never touched it, "you are an old fool and will end up breaking your neck", and I ended up riding it myself, I still own both of them and I used to ride the V8F almost every evening when I came home too tired to wrestle with the larger wheels, I like that wheel and enjoy it a lot, learned tricks with it, etc. The Master Pro was my third, bought it exactly after one year after the RS, and now, half year more into it, I ride it every weekend and I am so confident with it, albeit its 53 kg still make me sweat occasionally, but I tell you straight, whoever "masters the Master" Pro, they will never want to ride anything else further. You get used with the weight (and the comfort 😛) soooo fast! No joke! OTOH, I have no stairs to climb at my house (at least for the place I keep the wheels in) and I am on the heavier side of the Bell curve...

Well regarding the reliability, I saw video from Rollin Dirty. His Sherman Max cut out during light breaking. He asked eWheels and they sold 300 Shermaxes and 5 of them already failed like that. That is really not good, maybe even worse than V12HT which you hate so much. Regarding the Sherman Light - you already have such a wheel - Inmotion V12HT. V12HT has much higher pedal clearence and superior built quality and design of the wheel. Built in charger is also horrible idea for me, I want to chose the charger I use and not to be stuck with 3A from manufacturer. Wheel is also heavier carrying charger all the time. The rest of this video is very nice, thx :).

5 out of 300 is a pretty good failure rate. For the record, I cranked and did insanely hard breaking maneuver with the Max, no issues. The only time I felt a dip while breaking was when I had to do a emergency breaking after a turn, with close to no space. I had to grip the handle bar and have my 190 pounds fully geared ass practically hanging inches above the ground to make it happen.
