one of the amazing things about His love is He will meet you where you are at... no matter where that is. Or He will send you an angel. I was raised in a church, but growin up, my relationship with Him is personal... fellowship is good, but I dont need anyone to regulate my relationship. 🙂

Great reaction. Appreciated the way you explained God and religion. I believe it’s the everyday, everywhere, every moments relationship with your Savior that counts. Cause I believe if we had to wait til Sunday and be inside a building before

There are more good people than bad it's just that between the media and social media, you'd never know it. As a world society, we focus on the negative, it's what gets the attention. It's hard not to become jaded. I agree with others' comments, I fully believe in God but have no room for organized religion. I personally call it spiritual instead of religious. You can find God all around you and nature is one of the best places. They are amazing separately and extra special together in their talent.

I think you would really enjoy "And Then Some" by Darryl Worley. Also when you said that when the bottle and pills run there course, peoples problems still exist. I 100% agree but I do not know how fast I am to judge. As I know through friends how seeking help when active duty can be seen as a black mark, and how the VA just wants to give pills instead of help...

One of the great things about most current service members and veterans alike is that they have a mutual understanding of the majority things that they deal with. There may be some differences in the situations from person to person. However, I have never in 20 years of being either in, around, or with my brothers and sisters in arms have I or any other service member or veteran reached out to one another and ever be turned away. The VA is an entirely different conversation in itself.

You don't have to go to Church. Jesus isn't a building. He was the son of God and believe he died on a cross for us, to forgive all our sins. And there is no better friend then God, and I don't think i would be here if it wasn't for the Lord pulling me back from the edge. No drinking or drugs involved. So I can't use that as a excuse. But through prayer and a lot of help from friends Alls good now. It tells us in the Bible that if you gather with two or more people and share the Word, that is what church is. My church was a drive in the car with my dog to Myakka State Park in Sarasota Fl. Sunday morning i would take off with my Bible and meet up with a couple of friends down by the Myakka River and we would read a chapter of the Bible and then talk about it. Those were great days.
